In the Age of Haze maybe this is a redundant question, but is there a difference between these styles..I say yes.
West Coast IPA to me says San Diego IPA ...PNW says old style Or/WA/N.Cal dank wet IPA
I see some brewers using the moniker West Coast IPA then when i taste it..its usually a Tropical IPA of an ole style PNW IPA.
    Opinions?

You said it better than I could and saved me the brain cells just so I could kill them with alcohol.

To me. A WCIPA is a san Diego IPA, pale, bright, bitter, zesty and still a little fruity. Think Stone and Pizza Port. A PNW IPA is not afraid of giving the malt a little love, even if it's just in the form of color. They also lean a little more on the pine and just a little... heavier? On the palate.

Page me in 2030 so we can discuss murkbombs ( hat tip to @beertunes) vs juicebombs vs fruit pulp
