Happy Sunday all, still too early for a beer here but enjoying a coffee and some Uncle Neil. Back later with a few beers.

Have a good Sunday. Not much going on, more video games today. I got a nice good sleep last night, went out around 9-10PM.

Anchorage Pack Call. Fantastic NEIPA. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 6.4%, or lingering hop burn after the finish. Fantastic Cascade, Motueka and Waimea profile. Extremely vibrant, juicy, an fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice piloowly wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Right on par with the rest of their NEIPAs as expected. 4.25

Good day BAs! Sun beat me up today 'cause I stayed up too late last night with Joe Bob, catching up on the second half of Friday night. Today's New Breakfast Beer, a damn good English Barleywine and a cross-post with NBS:

Morning all! Before I get to my leftover Bratkartoffeln (I think it will make a tasty brunch!), I'm going to dig into a long-lusted-after brew, and play some acoustic tunes.

Review will be over on New Beer Sunday in a bit. If you're having a beer that, for you, is brand new, and you'd like to tell us a bit about it, come and join us!

    Cheers, BAs!

Today is Norway's national day. I am 100% Norwegian, and very proud of that, so today is a very special day for me. It is going to be cold and rainy all day, which is disappointing, but it is already disappointing that I cannot be around other people who are celebrating. One of my traditions for this day is to watch Until the Light Takes Us, which I did immediately after getting up. Skol!

    NBS X-post

Same situation as last week. I am playing video games all week to pass the time, aside from sleeping. Still have the lockdown until at least the 28th as it was recently extended, again. Still no call backs about jobs. Whatever, I'm still here.

Grand Armory Barrel Aged Nutter Your Business. Fantastic stuff. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, roasted nuts, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of vanilla, bourbon, oak, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, herbal, grass, peppercorn, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grass, pepper, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky/velvety/bready malts; some sticky hops and chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/acrid/astringent flavors. Very smooth/soft, mild increasing warmth of 10%, minimal booze. Fantastic balance of rich malts and authentic peanut butter flavors; with solid earthy hops and restrained fruity yeasty. Light residual sweetness with lingering hop/char bitter dryness. Definitely lacking in the barrel department, but still a nice step up from the base beer as an imperial version. 4.23

Happy Sunday advocates. Beautiful day yesterday spent pool lounging with the gf and nieces. Today staying indoors and sipping on that good stuff. Starting off with a banger
