Hot Damn! The Maibock is sooooo friggin' smooth and drinkable.

 

This thread is making me want to take the long drive to Dovetail!

 

I’m waiting until they release their Kolsch, then pick up Lager and Pisner hopefully wd well. Not a terrible drive for me as I’m sure traffic will be a breeze from the burbs to the city nowadays.

 

it sounded like Kolsch will see distribution and is entering the year round lineup. So you might not need to drive to the city to pans some kolsch. Maybe @OleWorm will see this and confirm

 

That is awesome to hear, but do they have Lager and Pilsner in distro as well? For the time being I feel more comfortable driving and quickly grabbing to-go as opposed to shopping/searching around beer shops, but I do appreciate the heads up for future distro.

Plus I will hit up Metropolitan and maybe one other city spot (thinking old irving brewing!!) :-)

 

No distro for Lager or Pilsner currently but they have said Pilsner will in the future. Curbside pickup can’t possibly be any easier than Dovetail’s, it’s been many a pickup for me. They do daily updates on the website and twitter on what’s available and when it’s starting to run low, which Pilsner is.

Metropolitan is all of 1.5 miles away from Dovetail and Old Irving is around 3 miles away.

 

Yep, Kölsch will be one of the new core beers, joining Helles, Vienna Lager, and Hefeweizen, and will enter distro -- tho, I'm not sure what that roll-out will look like (soon-ish). It will be available in the taproom next week, if can plans go accordingly. You may see some light distro of Grodsizkie as well.

There's a good chance Pilsner will be gone by next weekend (Memorial Day Weekend, so plan accordingly ). Maibock should stick around 'til the end of the month; Vienna and Hefeweizen will return soon, though it's available at retailers (shoutout to my favorite bottle shops!). Don't sleep on the Lager! It's probably one my favorite batches.

Thanks to everyone who continues to make orders! We are v appreciative, and it keeps us chugging along during all of this. Will be grateful when we're able to put beer in kegs, rather than just cans, tho. I miss draft beer.

 

Pilsner and Kolsch both available on the same day. Probably an ideal time to stop by (I grabbed a little lager and Maibock to make the drive worth it)

 

Grabbed some pils this weekend, super easy pick up. Dovetail continues to raise the bar.

 

That Pils is awesome. I'm dying to try the Kolsch.

 

The Pilsner and Kolsch are the best two beers that Dovetail has available in cans! Might be leaning slightly toward the Kolsch, but its really close!

 

Took the drive to the city today. 2 hours there and back in rush hour? Are you kidding? Sign me up!

Lager, Pils, Rauchdoppel, and Maiboch. In for first 3 beers, all great for the style, still giving the edge to Vienna Lager.

 

Enjoyed my super fresh can of the Kolsch. Was surprised that it was pretty hazy

 

The unfiltered lager life is great isnt it?
