How about the most recent Anabasis and BA CSV for 2 Green Assassin? Does the Assassin need to add? How much?

Seems pretty straight forward 2:2 however based on the fact you would have needed to “win” 2 sets in order to get 2 green assassins maybe the other side would need to add if anything. Just my opinion

 

Didn't two base(green wax) assassins come with the set?

I think the assassin side would have to add a plus, something around an MD b6

 

You’re right, I stand corrected. The set did come with 2 regular assassins and yes the assassin would need a plus.

Been out of the trade game for awhile so I’m a bit rusty on trade value. Would BCS 2 year reserve + Prop 19 be in the ballpark for a Midnight Still?

 

I think that would close 2:1 - maybe a small plus on the MS side to even out the cost

I have a few aged Sierra Nevada Big Foot, very aged. (2)2011 and (3)2015. I have them stored in the same place and pretty much never have moved them. I opened one of the 2011 around December and it was well carbonated, no off taste, and simply great.

Do these have value or way to niche?

I'll just drink them myself at some point if they don't, so I'd need them to bring in something difficult to find to make it worth giving any up, 5-10 years of good aging is not an easy find.

Was going to look for something like Westvleteren 12, Pliny Young, a rarer Cantillon etc.. Need some perspective here, I think these are worth such asks, but maybe I've lost it.

 

Bigfoot is a seasonal shelf beer at this point, has been for awhile. Unless someone is missing a year for a vertical tasting, bottles don’t hold much value. It’s extremely unlikely you could trade any for the beers you listed. It’s a classic. Drink and enjoy.

 

Personally, I think you'll have a hard time with that one. I could see someone who really wants vintage Bigfoot doing a Westy 12 for some, but I don't think it'll pull Cantillon, and Pliny The Younger is so past its prime at this point, you wouldn't want it anyway.

They definitely have some value - particularly to someone who's amassing a Bigfoot vertical, but with two '11s and three '15s, I wouldn't aim too high.

To put this into perspective, I've offered some lesser Side Project, BA Fayston Maple, tons of Bissell, vintage Allagash, and a slew of well-respected bottles, and I've gotten very little Cantillon. I think you could maybe get a 375ml of Lambic, Classic Gueuze, Kriek, or Rosé de Gambrinus for them at $4$, but as far as the season Cantillons, you would need someone hell-bent on getting some '11 and '15 Bigfoot to have a chance at that.

In any event, I wish you the best of luck! Being in Massachusetts, I'm sure you'll manage to pull something off eventually. Cantillon is just a bitch to get! I'd enjoy the Bigfeet if I were you.

Does the Other Half mixed stout set (40 degrees, Pastrinauts, and Banana Latte) carry some trade weight? Looking to see if the set will land the recently released Aslin stouts - West Chester (1/pp) and Norwa (1/pp).
