How does their La Coterie membership work? I saw they have access to purchase some things before public release and no membership fee, but is it just like a waiting list, lottery, or something else if they decide to add members? I’m sure it’s difficult to get in, but just curious.

Can members purchase bottles but not pick up until after several releases if they don’t live in the area?

I emailed them, but does anyone know how strict they are on the 7 day window for proxy pickup? Mine needs until Thursday now and am trying to see if need to scramble for a new one by tomorrow.

 

Thanks. I did see that before posting because it’s pretty vague. I guess it says for people who have been supporting them for years. Wasn’t sure if someone new to membership knows how they got selected or how long someone has waited before gaining access?

Also for members who are not in the St. Louis area, because I assume there are some. Do they travel to get the bottles they want, allowed proxies, or will Side Project hold until you have several bottles to travel for?

It’s a membership I don’t ever expect to gain access to, just curiosity really.

 

You get a few weeks to pick up. You can have a proxy but they have to be in LC as well.

 

They were understanding with me when I needed time.

 

agreed, they are super flexible now as long as you stay in contact. worst case if you cant get it changed, I can grab it for you and your proxy can grab from me when he's in town. But I have 0 shipping supplies left to ship at this point.
