Definitely an experiment. Absolutely loved the beer fresh but drank through 7 cans and figured I’d age one. Also still have a can of Henok left too

I will say that TH stouts are pretty underrated. And their pastry stouts are great and actually fairly balanced

Nice! Would be curious to hear your thoughts of how both aged out once you crack them open

Good call on Extra Extra, Eviscerated, and Lush Life. I think those would fit somewhere in the middle. This wasn't an exhaustive research project -- just did a quick Untappd scan.

That is what i took away from this  (you mention off the top of your head). I can not name all of them or probably find all of them. Thought it is a fun idea you started when you rank the rotational beers so just thought of a few others! Looks like Grassman is back in the line-up today!! That recent Nelson crop from New Zealand....sooo good!!!

    For me:

    1. Eviscerated Pathway of Beauty
    2. Punge
    3. Pineal
    4. Lush Life
    5. Alien Church
    6. Refreshing
    7. Technicolor Splendor
    8. Big Dream Sympathetic
    9. We Are All Infinite Energy Vibrating at the Same Frequency
    10. Oblivex - not really big on this one. Not sure why.
    11. Death Tripper
    12. Wish Fulfillment
    13. Extra Extra Knuckle
    14. High Road

I would have Intensely Juicy Dank Beautiful (Copy & Paste) pretty high up but it's definitely not a staple or one that is brewed more than once or twice a year.

Oh wait, I forgot Milkstaves, love those too and now they seem to be producing those more.

I am pretty disappointed with most sour IPAs overall (haven’t had any Hudson valley) but milkstaves are very good

Milkstaves are exactly how I want a sour ipa. Not overly tart or fruity. Well balanced and even has some funk

miss me with that kettle sour BS

Kettle sours can be fine (even really good, as an occasional drink) when they're brewed well and have transparent, skilled brewers behind them. It just seems like, unfortunately, so many prominent brewers of the style are trash brewers with insufferable fanbases... I have no clue why. I want to pin it on the "just the new fad" of it all, but I don't remember that being the case when NEIPAs rose into prominence.

Some might say some NEIPAs still have insufferable fanbases, especially whose second initial is "H," but whose first initial is not "T."

Fair enough, but I’d argue pretty strongly that kettle sour breweries win that prize ultimately. Then again, I’ve never had a gun pulled on me at Imprint...

Ha, I thought you might have been talking about Hudson Valley. You wouldn’t believe the crowds those guys pull.

Actually, that's one of the few "new 'sour'" breweries I think run a pretty smooth operation. Other than some recent quality issues I've only heard about and not experienced, I have nothing at all against the brewery (some great beers in the past, too). Their fans are another story lol. I remember being in line for a release (I think I've only been to 2-3?) when a dad was in a two-hour line with his 8 year-old son, who proceeded to remove the cork on a barrel that was next to him in line lol... not good. The guy tried to shove it back in quickly, but there was definitely a leak he wasn't going to tell the brewery about.

Cracked it last night. One year from canning on the day. Aaaanddddd it’s def infected. Didn’t even need to taste it, I could smell it

anyways, this weekend would be their anniversary celebration so I’m fully expecting a huge can drop on Saturday/Sunday.

would be a great surprise if they brewed a secret batch of We Are You since Side Project just dropped theirs this past week

From their IG story, looks like they have a whiskey barrel of the Weller varietal.

PLEASE be BA Only Void with no crazy adjuncts or wine treatments. Shoot, I’d even take Weller aged Awake Minds brand

Need to grab that and No Additional Text. Also just scored a set of the Side Project collab in a trade so very excited about that!

Wonder if this is the Anniversary brew in those barrels. A tired hands version of ADWTD would be epic
