Phase Three Brewing (2020)

Never tried to use it because my friend that was going up to the Chicago area that week wasn't going to be anywhere near LZ. Used Open Bottle online ordering and proxy instead. Was happy to be able to spend some money there.

 

Pretty salty the sour isn't seeing distro, I'd have jumped on that for sure. I respect their reasoning, but it's a style I haven't seen many places in Chicago give a serious go at (really enjoyed the stuff I had on tap at FR a while back), and I'm sure P3 will kill it.

 

It honestly sounds like something you could get at one of those fancy Taco Bells. Or just get a slurpee from 711 and add a shot of something.

 

Curvature B6 is live for ambassadors

 

3PM today for Non-Ambassadors.

 

I decided to swap my extra Quills for Curvature B6 and glad I did. Got an email like 30 minutes ago saying that since I decided to swap I cannot order a bottle later today. Non-Ambassador here. Saves me the trouble of trying to get one later this afternoon.

 

The 4 other beers are up for sale now. Gotta scroll to the bottom. Pilsner, Cascading Sunshine (wit beer with coriander and orange peel), strawberry Chantilly, and Nectar

Completely missed the memo about Curvature being a separate link from the normal store. Ah well, congrats to all those who got a bottle!

But yeah, $20 is a lot to drop on a non-BA stout. I've just heard great things about this series and haven't been able to try one yet, and I love Pressed.

 

This is the sweetest sounding of the Curvature series. Really hope it’s not too pasty level. Thought B3 was nicely balanced so hoping for the same here.

 

Saw that "Phase Three" was trending on twitter with ~6,000 tweets in Illinois, thought "damn that's a lot of people salty-tweeting about curvature selling out," turns out it was (of course) about phase three of the reopening plan. Just had to laugh at myself.

 

my expectations are that it’ll be like Pressed Toffee which I enjoyed but some found too sweet

 

I completely missed this, what's the adjuncts this time?
