Strawberry Chantilly is pretty great. When I opened it, the aroma smelled like FrankenBerry cereal...really enjoyed it.

 

yeah I was nervous about the hop change. It has a fantastic aroma. It tastes very creamy and smooth with seemingly little carb

 

Are we really not gonna talk about how great Nectar is....?

Sadly, I slept on this one.

 

Does it taste like beer? Or juice? I passed on it since I assumed no beer qualities.

 

1. Please tell me you ordered it but have not picked it up yet. Cause it’s gone!
2. Not a big sour drinker in general. Had some Rare Barrels here and there and of course whatever the new shiny beer New Glarus has to offer but this was amazing. Closest I’ve had would be the More Mango Frooted but this was way more drinkable and less sweet. Mango bomb for sure but not as sweet...? Def more balanced. The palate went crazy!

Agree. Beer shouldn’t be like Pokémon.

 

I liked it but based on this and Ocean City, I’m just a little too sensitive to lime. I still enjoy the beers but I think the lime finishes are why others like them more.

 

I found the lime in Nectar trying to hit home more with it being a sour ale so I see why it was added for the effect. HB...(shrug emoji)?
Maybe they were trying to make it different from Hawaiian Vibes?

 

Thought I'd buy Nectar if I got the Curvature...Ended up with neither.

 

Yeah not sure on HB. On day one, there was a huge fresh pineapple note but that’s faded a bit with the lime more prominent to me now.

 

I checked with Phase Three...no proxies for Curvature. Plan accordingly.

 

They did write that on the B6 order page. Reading is a fundamental skill even with beer purchases.

 

I didn't dislike the beer and I'm not claiming to be an expert, but if I hadn't read the label of the German style pilsner, I would never have thought that's what they were going for.

 

I'm no expert either, but BOTH of the Pilsner's I've had from P3 were not what I was expecting. They were...heavy? Not sure if that makes sense, but I expect a Pilsner to be pretty effervescent.
