As the quarantine started but before breweries started shipping, my stock of freshies got immediately exhausted. Incredibly, @HeartofMiami came to the rescue with this very timely care package: It of course also included stouts and sours because that's what Jared does. That Blastadon was decadent. I don't often get to drink 15abv crowlers all by myself . Thanks Jared! OK, bear with me hear, I have quite the backlog of hauls to get through... if only it were easier to do so in a timely fashion. Any who, here we go... Back in March, @jonbonfondle decided to drop some return fire on me, which included all new ticks and even a blind #chugs. Thanks again Jon, everything I've had so far has been great!
Then @Griff57 got my April started off with a bang, with a #lif box that someone had forwarded onto me. That OH bootle will be shared, everything else was great, especially those Mortalis juice boxes! Thanks again Chris and mystery forwarder!
A few weeks after that, I had met up with @beermanben to drop of a few GPIUFMB beers for him, along with a few extra. He made damn sure that he had room in his beer fridge with what I had dropped off as he sent this home with me... Thanks again for the hookup on the Dosvidana Ben!
Then @jonbonfondle sent me another box, but this one was requested, well, most of it anyway. Also included is a bottle that @Vidblain was able to secure to as generous as he is, handed to Jon to send my way! Thanks again for the hookups Jon and Chris!
A week later, @CBrodbeck came through with sending me a couple bottles that I didn't have time to grab while down in FL on my drunken weekend. And of course, he added in some delicious 3 Sons cans for extra measure. Thanks again Chucky!
Next was a box from @Burrass with two new Newbie glasses, along with some JOOSE! Thanks again for the hook-up Matt!
Then a box from @HeartofMiami came in, packed full of FL goodies, which included a blind #chugs and 2 new All Togethers! Thanks again Jared, everything has been wonderful so far!

Whats up Newbies (and lurkers)! It almost seems like its been an entire year since we've had a BIF round. I was about to get one underway just as the pandemic hit, so I figured it would be in the best interest to hold off until things started to look better. And now with many states starting to lift their Stay at Home orders, and numerous liquor stores / breweries now offering contactless pick-up, I think it might be a good time to get back to a little slice of normal life. So what do you say to a Summer Sixer??? The requirements: Six wrapped vessels of beer to be enjoyed each day spanning from June 29 (Monday) - July 4 (Saturday), 4+ BA / untappd rating unless it is a want of your target. Beer must be from outside your target's distribution. Extras are not required, but if you feel the need to send on some more beer than required, please limit to 6 max (wrapped or not). As with past blind BIFs, each shipper will provide their target with six (or so) individually wrapped beers (bottle, can, growler, etc). Each of these packages will be tagged with the order and/or date on which they should be opened, and each day the target will open the designated package for that day, take a photo and post it on BA, and I guess drink some beer. Minimum ~100 oz. of beer. I trust your judgement, but since the number of beers is limited, we should probably try to avoid a box of exclusively small format beers. Feel free to double up small format beers for a single day, verticals are always fun! Extras are not required, but with a small gap between the landing date and first drinking date, I don't think anyone would complain too much if there was something to hold them over. This is open to any past participants or lurkers. Newbie Newbies looking to join with fewer than 5 positive trades will require a sponsor - if that's you, just speak up and we'll figure something out! The timeline: Boxes need to be in your target's hands no later than June 27th. If you think you might have a problem getting your box to its final destination on time, ship early, nobody likes to sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else have a good time. Send me a PM with the following information (title the message Newbies 2020 Summer 6er so I can easily reference it.) Name, shipping address, and cellphone number Shirt size (just in case...swag is not required, but is certainly not prohibited) Any 'Do Not Ship' dates (i.e. you’ll be out of town) Untappd username Style likes/dislikes As usual, hoping to not pair people up with each other that have sent and/or received from each other in previous rounds, or people with bordering states, so the more people the better!
