Good day BAs! Starting off sunny and warm today - I may have to water the garden and the newly seeded areas of my yard. Today's revisit of an old favorite:

 

Have a good Monday. I slept all afternoon yesterday. woke up at 1AM and have been playing Car Mechanic Sim every since. I was stuck on a job for one where the engine wouldn't start. After tearing and rebuilding the engine twice I gave up on the job and moved on. It wasn't a story job either, so not worried about it. Been listening to a Prog Metal Spotify Playlist while playing the game.

Founders Mas Agave. Incredible stuff. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy limes, citrus peel/zest, lemon, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, vanilla, tequila, toasted oak, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate honey, agave, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malt sweetness; light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light zesty bitterness, and tequila/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy, silky, bready wheat; some lactic acid/fruit tang; light oak tannins, and salinity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing acidic/tangy/tannin dryness; zero cloying/pucker. Insanely smooth/soft, not overly lactic/salty. Minimal warming 10%, zero barrel booze. Perfectly balanced between juicy/vibrant limes, Lacto complexity, agave, and tequila barrel presence/integration; with a nice sized rich pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Just as impressive as the Sierra Nevada one, but richer from the high ABV. This was everything I hoped it would be. Will pick up the grapefruit version this week.

Happy memorial day advocates. Hope you all have a good day. I know circumstances aren't ideal but let's make the best of it. Starting out with some typhoon from mortalis. This Sour blends together pineapple, pink guava, peach, and toasted coconut to an explosion of fruit flavors. Just a remarkable smoothie cheers

 

Woken up by the rain two hours ago, woken up by my wife’s snoring ten minutes ago. Time for a morning meeting with the baby.

Pipeworks Supremium Hypster Beast Mode. Fantastic NEIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 6.5% or hop burn after the finish. Fantastic Mosaic, Amarillo profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on style. Loved the hop profile as expected.
