    Howdy all, no beer for me today because I had a dentist appointment for a cavity I had mentioned in a previous WBAYDN and am on codeine. Turned out it was a wisdom tooth growing on this tooth’s cavity. :rolling_eyes: Bummer. Next appointment is in about ten days and I’ll get high on the aforementioned drug. Can’t mix them all. Cheers!

    Citrus Citra by Decadent Ales. Not sure if they are still producing, unfortunately this can is a touch old (12/12/2019). When they reopen, would really like try to it on tap.



    Not quite the flavor characteristics, but did relieve my bellyache. Glorious, sunny day in greater NY metro. Stay Safe, Carpe Diem, and Sláinte, mo Chairde!

    Good day, all! It looks like a nice one in the Cedar Valley today, with temps in the mid-70's, plenty of sun, and no wind. Perfect day to get the bird poop washed off of my car. First things first, though: Lassos and Lasers, a Brett NEIPA from Confluence, Des Moines, IA. This is an interesting and delicious experiment. Big aromas and flavors of mango, pineapple, and grapefruit, with underlying characteristics of wild ale from fermentation with brettanomyces in an oak foeder. Low bitterness, with a crisp and dry finish and a lingering note of umami. Thanks to @Strike00 for this gem!

    To celebrate a little freedom these days I am celebrating by home brewing a Pliny clone and having friends over to drink it. Lucky enough that my home brew shop also had bottles of Pliny. Seemed appropriate.

    Spruce is a spruce tipped imperial IPA from Blacklist Brewing out of Duluth Mn.
    More malt forward than an IPA should be IMO and trying hare to make out any spruce.
    Undated can (buying beer on line these days) so that could be part of the problem.
