I have to go with the op and say Founders Breakfast Stout. Readily available, competitively priced, and delicious.

I'll cast another vote for Troegs as a regional option. SN is another I'll always look to.

For value (taste/cost ratio) I have to go with the mainline beers from Jack's Abby. I can get a 16oz 6 pack of their very good beer for about $10.

For macro - Hoegaarden $12.50 for 12-pack, for local - Two Brothers $14 for 12-pack. Costco 24-packs, when they have something not polluted by the IPA. Also, I am not above hitting TJ-branded beers.

As almost exclusively an imperial stout drinker I will cal my value price point anything under the ~$4/ 12oz that Oskar Blue's Ten FIDY goes for around here. I am always happy paying that for Ten FIDY, but most years I find one or more of: Sierra Nevada Narwhal, Bell's Expedition, Founder's Imperial, Great Lakes Blackout or Brooklyn's Black Chocolate Stout to be as good for 25% less.

Ten FIDY is good every year, but the others seem to vary from year to year . . . so I have to sample them all and then buy in bulk.

Lately, I've been drinking a lot of Labatt Citra. @ $17.77 for a case of 16oz cans, it's a pretty good deal.

My favourite is Unibroue Winter Collection. Case of 24(2 x 12 packs) at $55.50 from The Beer Store in Ontario. Varies from year to year, but always includes Maudite, Trois Pistoles and La Fin du Monde, plus three others of their wide selection. Solid value with a range of Belgian styles.

I agree with the SN, Founder's, Bell's, Lagunita's suggestions. Locally, maybe everywhere, Krogers discounts 4 six packs of craft beer at 20% providing a pretty good value.
If I am a week or so away from getting my allowance, I will buy the Kirkland variety pack. It makes me appreciate the beers that are not in the "value" categories even more.

Local store usually has a 15 pack Founders Centennial for $15 and Old Rasputin for $7.50, I'm good with that!

When I’m buying with price and quantity in mind, I’m always going to go 15 pack, whether it’s Founders anything or Troegs summer pack, or Oskar Blues variety, etc.

Deschutes' core beers, all a steal at current prices.
    Full Sail, practically everything.
Cigar City Maduro and other core beers.
    21st Amendment's whole catalog.
    Great Divide's core beers.

I just bought some six-packs of 1/2 liter cans of Radeberger for $9.99. That seemed like a good value.

From a "brewer" standpoint, August Schell always seems to be living in my fridge. They deliver a pretty good variety of simple tasty brews.

North Coast Old Rasputin (dark) and Pseudo Sue (pale) for individual brews.

It used to be Stone IPA and Arrogant Bastard, but I can never get these fresh anymore, which is a god damned shame.

Maisel & Friends Pale Ale and IPA are pretty decent old school examples of the style, come at a great price point and keep up pretty well.

Bitburger/Sierra Nevada Triple Hop'd Lager may also become a new favorite, I'm just not sure how long that will be around for.

Last time I bought Heady at the source it was in the $12 range. It's up to $13.45 on its site now, but I still think it's one helluva deal. Also, NEBCO deserves strong consideration. $12 for a sixer of FBD is outrageous. And for the longest time Boat was $10. Now at $11.
