    Hmmm. If only there were a Web site where people could describe in detail why they love a beer and build connection with other beer lovers ....

    I like that his go-to beer is Stone IPA. You’d think it might be from central waters.

    They’re IPA when fresh is really the shit. It’s hit or miss here, but it’s a hit often enough that I don’t drop over when I find a batch.

    Honestly, I prefer to drink alone (at least new beers, that is). I straight up crack the son of a gun, chill, enjoy the hell out of it without any distractions, and review it. Did Van Gogh want Gauguin in his ear as he was painting? Hell no! Did Socrates want, I don’t know, Jr. Socrates up in his grill when he was doing the damn thing? Get off it! I am Raul. And I am gonna do the damn thing!!!

    Sort of a "really, we need to learn how to drink beer?" kind of thing that assumes there is one way to drink beer, one intent, with which I disagree. It does mention the great idea to release aromatics and yet completely glosses over the main way we do this, the pour.

    OTOH the guy brews some great beer at Central Waters, and there really is no wrong way to drink any of it.
