I was going to maybe venture out and visit a brewery for at least one this afternoon. Then it started to poor down rain, which basically confirmed that na I got a ton of beer at home and I'll stay put.

Saint Arnold Sabroconut Island. A pretty good Sabro hopped IPA that I'm liking more and more every time I have it. Which is almost always the case with Saint Arnold, and why I like them so much. Spinning Lifes Rich Pageant...

Almanac Beer Co., Alameda CA - “Waves West Coast IPA”, dry hopped with Simcoe and Centennial:



Pours crystal clear deep gold (6); very quick tight white head; poor cap retention; small spots of lace and very thin ring. Grapefruit, lemon, earthy dank hop nose. Taste follows, lemony citrus rind, grapefruit pith; light bitterness, and semi sweet malt base, all very restrained. Medium light body verging on watery; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency; no warmth from 6.4% abv. Overall a pretty wimpy IPA from an aroma, taste and mouthfeel-wise standpoint; on the upside, it’s totally poundable, like a session that had more abv; at $6.50/16oz can, I’ll pass next time.

how much beer to lemonade is it?

 

local brewery Masthead’s nice hazy but not NE ale. Has a good quick hoppiness up front with a mellow finish. Should be a good summer beer. Cheers!

 

Initially had this one at a Mudhens game in souvenir plastic cup and wasn't impressed. Giving it another shot straight from the can and gotta say it's changed my opinion.



Starting into June here I'm really getting baseball withdrawal.

 

I've rated almost 1600 beers on this site. This one in my top ten. I wouldn't waste a drop of it washing my hair.

 

My old fave from the cruise ship. I couldn't get enough.
