That glass looks super impractical. Is it really a candle stick holder?

Right along here ba. Higher Burnin, ipa, from LIC beer project with new can art. Decent drinking but nothing great either. Only been to their brewery once. Wish they would put out Pile of Crowns more.

Excellent brown body, clear; thin yet lasting off-white head; delicate sheets of foam coat the glass. Fine gentle roasted grain smell; some roasted nuts, too. Well-rounded taste comprised of roasted malts, nutty flavors; mild fruitiness; slightly sweet with a subtle hop bitterness. Medium body; rather smooth and and slightly creamy; warm with a soft dryness.

Drinking this beer makes me think more of an English-styled ESB than a brown ale. There is a definite malt character to this beer, yet the sweetness, while there, resides more in the background. The roasted grain character really shines. The beer definitely comes across well-rounded and balanced with some wonderful character in the aroma and taste.

So glad to be done and home right now. Work had me in such a bad mood I can’t even say what I could’ve done without incriminating myself. Anger is poisonous. I will let go And I will now chill and forget

anywaysssss. Its Miller time. Was in the fridge. It’s go time. Will post up in NBS later with a beer I’m familiar with but want to share with those who may not have had.
    Cheers

Lupulin Sophistry #6 IPA, 7.5% ABV, 50 IBU. Pours bright and slightly hazy orangish yellow, with a 4-finger white foamy head that left decent lacing. Nose is tropical fruit and lemon zest. Taste follows with slight sweetness and moderate bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. Had hoped for more fruit flavor.

Finished up installing new outlets in the kitchen today - yes, before cracking a beer. Besides matching the decor better, each of the non-GFI outlets also has two high-power USB charging ports.

Quite rainy today, which killed my recovery run. My partner should be painting by this very window in a moment; she is much, much better than I.

But I am pretty good at drinking beer. :grinning:
