A well brewed german double ipa, hooray!

 

Yeah, one of the more frustrating bits of living in a Republic are the asinine state by state laws. It's pretty damn confounding. Any brewery should be able to ship any beer, any goddamn where. Ugh.

 

We just took a walk around the neighborhood, now we’re just hanging on the deck listening to some Greensky Bluegrass.

Traquairs Jacobite ale, a scotch ale actually from Scotland. Definitely something that can hold it's own against its American made counterparts.

 

I never understood that. Night Shift got a distributors license or something like that and they help other breweries distribute their beer around. Other then lack of volume no law should be the reason beer can't be sold anywhere.

 

Big delicious imperial brown ale. One of my favorites from Founders. Cheers!

Been wanting to try this beer , not usually seen in these waters

One finger frothy white foam cap, good retention , good lacings, settles to a layer with clingy lacings over a golden orange translucent liquid

Aroma is very floral, hint of earthiness

Taste is floral hops

Smooth mouthfeel , medium sudsing, full hop flavor No bite

Good beer , repeatable

 

Hot & stick out there. Let's see how beer# 1 goes with that. Tupps Brewery Fluffy Creamy Yogurt Ale

 

Fremont - Cucumber Gose.

It's light, it's cucumbery -- not bad. Not fantastic, but worthwhile.

It´s märzen time with a pretty fresh (6 weeks) Weltenburger Kloster Anno 1050, the comforting honeyish malts and very bright hops fitting nicely with a rather cold late spring evening.
