It was 96 degrees out in the garage when I worked on the boat up to a quitting point. One more battery and the onboard charger left to install, after the epoxy cures on the battery tray. Hook up the cables and I'll be done with working in the bilges. Laying on my stomach and reaching down into it. If I got a $100 dollars an hour labor, I'd owe me $5500. Which is what we paid for the boat in 2004. It's a 1993 Ranger and she's still rock solid even though she don't shine like she used to and needs carpet.
This Deep Ellum sure tastes good after working in that heat. I told my wife, if I can work in the garage at 96 degrees I can still fish in this Texas heat. Brother Man!! The fish are wet and they're hungry this time of year.

My high-end for whiskey whisky purchases is near $200 (recently) for Middleton Very Rare Irish whiskey. Used to get it for about $80 or so a few decades ago. Then there's A.H. Hirsch 16-Year - when it used to be available - perhaps around $125 the last time I purchased it in circa 1995 - 2000. Now I see asking prices of $1.5K to over $2.5K for a bottle! Luckily, I still have 2 1/2 bottles left (and still one of the finest bourbons I've ever had - but Wild Turkey or many of the Jim Beam product line or even some of the locally distilled whiskeys are also mighty fine). I certainly wouldn't spring for the current asking price of Hirsch!

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

L: A peach-hued orange haze with some sediment in suspension near the bottom and a finger of orange-tinged ivory foam leaving random splotches of lace on the glass.

S: Strong floral notes, lemongrass, grape must overwhelm any citrus qualities. A light note of honeydew as well.

T: Similar to the nose with a nicely bitter afterbite. Respectably drier on the finish.

F: Smooth and well carbonated, weightier than expected for the ABV.

O: Happy to tick off Arkansas thanks to @taplebr with a unique brew and an Amarillo focus. Not bad!

Just got back from a pretty demanding hike with my daughter at the Rutland Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Petersham MA. Had an awesome time and it felt good to get out and get some good exercise. Now I'm having a Tank 7, first time I've had it in cans, it's good ...

posting this bad boy over in NBS as well. It’s a doozy. It’s clocked me. My chin is on the floor. Anybody got an extra set of teeth? I love it. But it snuck up on me. Drank so quick I need to chill.

not new to me but I’d like to share my enthusiasm of this beer with all of you and I haven’t had a review in over a year so here goes. New beer Sunday it is. A RE newed love of this classic.
    Cheers all.

Hitting a ho-hum hazy. Brewed in Bozeman, Montana, this is quite easy drinking but otherwise not terribly distinctive.

While I agree any brewery should be able to ship.
The asinine state laws can be changed with a bit of effort. I live in a state with
lots of them. But they can be changed.
Love from Puritan Massachusetts. With so much change in my lifetime.
    Cheers
