A beer you would drink flat

    Tossing this out because I realized someone put a half consumed BCBS in my fridge after a get together last night. I grabbed it and poured it tonight and well, damn if it's not still really good.

    So for me it's Bourbon County....

    Other beers you would drink flat?

    I have drank flat bottles of Marshal Zhukov and Autumn Maple, both were fantastic despite the lack of carbonation.

    I've had several lambics that have had no carbonation, and they were delicious.

    Cantillon Faro. And Mahr's Ungespundet and Brauerei Hoenig Lager. Franconian Kellerbier is generally pretty low in carbonation, and these two are particularly so...and particularly delicious.

    Can't say it was flat... but *found* a Winter Storm in the freezer this morning that I sorta, kinda forgot that I put there to chill last night. After sitting for an hour, tasted just fine.

    So glad it didn't blow, the wife would have been all over me.

    Heady Topper. Cracked one open a few times later in the evening and couldn't finish it, put tin foil over the glass, stuck in the fridge, and consumed the following evening. No complaints! :slight_smile:

    Delirium Noel has a pretty interesting taste after aging for a year, and yes it was flat.

    JUST helped a fellow BA finish a flat 22oz Speedway Stout bottle last night. Drank more like a Port Wine Flat = still acceptable and very delicious!!!!

    Lost Abbey's Angel's Share was as still as one of those weird statue people on a city street trying to make money and was one of the most delicious beers I've ever had.

    I got one on the other end of the spectrum. In an act of desperation, I drank a flat Mickey's 40oz my freshman year in college. Not my finest hour.
