Good Morning BA Peeps! Time for a light and easy Bohemian Pilsner to start the day. Going with Bell's Lager of the Lakes, while pointing toward Lake Michigan, which gives us water and snow and one day, year or decade soon, open beaches and swimming!

Summertime, and the living is easy. Storms coming in soon, so trying to take advantage of some nice weather before the wet hits the fan.

Cheers and have a great Beer day, wind, rain or shine!!!

    What’s up advocates?

A very interesting and new beer to me this afternoon. An imperial brown ale from a French brewery, 10% and heavy on caramel, pretty smooth and quaffable for its ABV. Moderate carbonation, and outstanding overall. Pleasant surprise, would purchase again any day.

    Cheers!

Morning BA's. Especially for the fair city of Cincinnati, Duvel has released a special "Duvel for Cincinnati glass". I secretly think, the tiger print on it refers to the Cincinnati Bengals. But I could be wrong off course.

Busy morning so far. At 8am I was in line at the Mall’s parking lot to pick up a bushel of Georgia peaches. Home now, and finishing off Sunday’s bottle - Westbrook’s Red Wine Barrel Aged Mexican Cake (2016):

Ha. One was hiding behind another another stout.
Another ORB Black Denim Stout, for this cool (40?!) rainy morning here on the Front Range.
Stay dry, but stay thirsty. Cheers.

Cool and windy this morning. I had a jacket on when I took the dogs out for our walk. Now they're getting groomed, which they really love, and I'm having a KBS.

My lunch-time run was supposed to be 3 miles, but it's 82 degrees, beyond muggy from daily rain and fog, and it's this much humidity, even in my house:

    Whatever that means. :grinning:

So I cut my run short, as I really didn't feel safe going any farther in that heat and humidity, especially at the pace I was keeping. I am definitely going to reward myself:

This beer is SUPERB! I asked one of my St. Louis buddies if I should trade a Side Project CoEx for one and he said no. I am sooo glad I didn't listen LOL. Barrel aged w/ Ugandan coffee and Madagascar vanilla.

I don’t always drink Saison DuPont, but when I do it’s its biologique variant.

First time trying this supposed Cincinnati "classic" (chili on spaghetti, topped with cheese and red onion).

    Lawson's Super Session (Galaxy)

I might need @WesMantooth to weigh in on whether or not I'm doing it right. Also, I topped it with some hot sauce, because there's pretty much no chance I go in on something like this blind without some hot sauce backing me up.

Have a good Tuesday. Bought and downloaded Diablo 2 last night, still having trouble with the resolution, and did not yet find a fix. It's fun so far, but I don't think I can say I like it over Diablo 3 just yet. I went to sleep at 5 AM and had a good rest.

Bell's Hopslam. Incredible as usual this year. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, white bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-full bodied, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter resin/rind dryness, no hop astringency. Amazing classic Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced malt backbone. Not overly sweet or bitter, extremely well balanced. Lightly boozy alcohol, but dangerously easy drinking. Never disappoints. Feels less sweet than last year. Also a lot easier to find when released.

Ladt day if covid learning was yesterday. Last day if school is Friday. Not sure how that works. Only the kindergartener has assignments today. Sitting on the porch enjoying a book and a Heady. Cheers!
