Goes to show how spoiled we are with SP here. Speaking only for myself and my thought process on this one:

'For Gabe for $75? Sure that sounds awesome, no hesitation there.'

'World class stout collab plus a great saison for $10 more than For Gabe? Nah, think I'll pass.'

 

I couldn’t pull the trigger on a $35 non BA stout that Mikerphone had their hands in.

 

Ugh, yeah. Dammit.

 

Why all the Mikerphone hate. I've had limited stuff from them, but have enjoyed all the stouts. Especially BA Smells like DMV, vanillanoize, shake it fast.

This is changing from the SP/Shared forum to the Mikerphone haters forum. Nobody has even tried the beer. Do people really have such little faith in the Shared crew?

 

Because they’ve made one good beer, and that’s it.

All these bean spirits are practically undrinkable.

I don’t understand the logic to think Cory King would put out a bad beer because of the collaborating brewer.

 

When they said they tweaked it to be a combination of their two recipes, that means it’s at least partially Bean Spirit.

So that logic.

I agree. Nobody in their right mind would say " this brewery/brewer is trash, we should do a shitty collaboration beer together!"
