Have a good Thursday. I slept in once again. Going to get my MIDI Commander guitar effects controller board in the mail today, so I will be messing around with that a lot later on. Probably going to start a couple more games as well. ARK: Survival Evolved is the free game on Epic this week, I have been wanting to play that one.

Bearded Iris DDH Ever Clever. Fantastic NEDIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, guava, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough, light biscuit/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, minty, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 8.5%, or lingering hop burn after the finish. Fantastic Simcoe, Mosaic, Motueka, Centennial profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on stuff. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Substituting a little Big Bad Baptist coffee in place of my normal mid-morning second cup of french roast.

Troegs’ Hazy Charmer, a light, hazy pale. I’m less than charmed. Cheers

Last of the Heady. Hoping to be fortunate enough to stumble on some next time they drop here. Rain keeping me from mowing. Gonna have to bale it if I wait much longer. Cheers!

All nice and quiet here in this large hotel in a forest. Only thing you hear is the sound of the birds.
    Cheers!

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass best by 8/20/2020. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with a half finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with nice retention. 4.25

Smell herbal marijuana, ripe melon, papaya, and apricot. 4

Taste follows papaya, cantaloupe, marijuana, pine, lemon, and grapefruit much bolder in flavor. 4.25

Mouthfeel is medium, plenty of life, maybe a tad dry, and at 6.9% bigger in flavor, but still easy going down. 4.25

Overall this is a East meets West IPA for me and that is not a complaint. If you are looking for a juice bomb, you are barking up the wrong tree. Really enjoyed it and will have know problem drinking the other 3 and may grab more as a palate cleanse in between juice bombs. 4.25

Yesterday's Alaska vs Hawaii beer face off was won handily by Alaska. This one not as impressive as the Husky IPA from yesterday.

SN Summer Fest 5%. Light but flavorful. Nice and crisp. Good malt flavor. Decent zing from the hops. I like this a lot better than I thought I would. Glad I tried it. I should probably try Bigfoot too.

Kinda choking down another one of these, in between lunch and work, so that these don't stay in the house too long. I can drink it, but it's not enjoyable, almost feel like sticking it in a paper bag so I can forget it's a Weldwerks. Still MEH.
