Ommegang. The beer is fine, but it's just too expensive.

    Founders.

I poured a couple bottles I had in my cellar and would not buy again.

To be fair, some people are speaking negatively (whether deserved or not) and others are simply mentioning brewers they don't seem to buy much from anymore. With some people talking about brewers they don't buy from due to legal or ethical problems, I want to emphasize that I was just listing brewers that I used to enjoy buying from but no longer have a desire to do so. It's not that I have problems with all of the brewers in my post. It's more a personal case of preferring other options. While writing the above quoted post, I was wondering how long it would take for me to momentarily swing in another direction and buy something from one of those listed brewers. Sure enough, just one week later... I went out and bought a bunch of beers from one of them. I think it's safe to say that it will be an isolated incident rather than a change of habit though.

I'm in for their stouts. By and large, haze is haze if you've got a decent haze brewery in your area.

Gotta ask- why? I haven't seen their beers on shelves in ages; has something changed?

While I haven't quite started avoiding them yet, I very well may if this trend continues with FrauGruber, who used to be THE finest maker of NEIPAs in Germany. Every since they started upping their production volume and using their own malted barley, the body and mouthfeel of their brews have seriously gone downhill, unfortunately.

This is something that I still hope they will be able to overcome, although maybe it was a conscious decision to focus on quantity over quality as their popularity has soared. If that is truly the case, I sincerely hope that it will end up biting them in the ass.
