Meanwhile, The Veil freaky Friday'd Bomb Atomically.

Not to get too off topic but I've been seeing a lot of back an forth on the OH facebook group about DDH Ghost in the Machine. As my trusted source for all things Citra, has anyone tried the recent batch and how does it compare to say...ACE?

Can't comment on this batch, but the 2nd beer i had at Green City last year was DDH Ghost and it was worth the hype. Its been a year but prob better than the best ACE batches, def better than the recent batches, & HDHC ACE was comparable to it, DDH Ghost had more bite from what I recall.

I had a DDH GITM over the weekend and absolutely loved it.
I would rank it slightly below HDHC More Citra (I had the most recent batch of this, end of 2019 I think) and slightly above DDH Double Red Chroma (batch from a month or so ago I think). I have not had DDH ACE in quite some time.

Isn’t the singular release of HDHC ACE the benchmark for this one? That was prob my fave beer from OH last year

(and I know there was an “experimental” ACE too but I think there was only one ACE release with the HDHC moniker)

I'd agree here. Experimental is just HDHC from what we have come to find out, I believe. I had that HDHC ACE and it was great, I think I might prefer the DDH Ghost over it b/c it had more bite, but again 1 year ago and also just a taster vs a can. But I am would say DDH Ghost's OH counterpart would be HDHC ACE

Tomorrow, Freaky Friday is back with two variations of Fort Point from @trilliumbrewing.⠀
    ⠀
DDH Fort Point Pale Ale (6.6%) Our good friends @trilliumbrewing let us take a crack at this classic brew for Freaky Friday! This is their description of the beer: Our signature American pale ale balances light, crisp, malt character with an abundance of hop-derived aromatics and flavors from the use of Citra and Columbus. The fragrant nose is fresh citrus, tropical fruit, and peach. Bold flavors of pineapple and mango mix with dank notes of zesty citrus and fresh pine needles. With the smooth mouthfeel, gentle bitterness, and dry finish, Fort Point is our standard daily-drinker. $20 per four pack, limit 1pp. ⠀
    ⠀
HDHC Fort Point Pale Ale (6.6%) Thanks to the Trillium team for also letting us push on the boundaries with this High Density Hop Charge version of their classic pale ale. Extra Freaky for Friday. $22 per four pack, limit 2pp. ⠀
    ⠀
    --⠀
Releases will happen via Curbside, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9am each day.⠀
    ⠀
Pickup will begin when the tap room opens, but please don't come to the brewery before you receive an email saying your order is ready. All other beers are available at all times, as usual. ⠀

So how do these Friday releases work? Do they go on sale at 9am tomorrow online? Can you walk up and pick them up? Haven’t been to OH in awhile but I’m swinging by tomorrow on my way to a job site.

Yes 9am, yes walk up. If you can get in an order tomorrow that seems like an ideal plan.

Already did. I have to meet a client at 9am and I already told him I’ll be 5-10 minutes late. Priorities, am I right?
