With the soft release this week I’m guessing they are labeling and waxing for maybe a release next week...?

Just cracked my fist can of Terrazzo, and it's a phenomenal beer. The hop profile is killer from the nose all the way through the palate, with a nice, crisp, and bitter finish. This is everything I want out of my West coast IPAs.

That being said, anybody who is comparing this to Pliny should stop doing so immediately.

You're all welcome for recommending Terrazzo. Now write an email to
[email protected] and let him know how much you liked it if you want it again. Please.

Not that this is news but Terrazzo is amazing, the first sip was an eye opener. It is getting more difficult to find this style (and well executed). Price point makes this even more impressive.

DDH Pixel Density. Wow, this tasted like NE Slapper from the Ram Brewing days. Their post mentioned they have figured out the water situation and I would have to agree. Soft mouthfeel, hoppy and balanced. I could easily go through a 4 pack and not realize it.

I pretty much blindly purchase Phase Three at this point (other than milkshake beers which I don't drink), haven't screwed one beer up that I have tried and the vast majority have been excellent. The IPA's, stouts and Pressed series are all top notch...just a very impressive brewery.

Going to be around lake Zurich this weekend, where can I get terrazzo in cans? Sold out at the brewery. Thanks!

they must’ve baked that reverse osmosis machine into the ddh pixel density pricing. Just about $5 per can for a 6.5% pale ale

16.99 + tax from the brewery in in line with most of their hazy 4pk pricing. Regular pixel is 15.99. The creme are 17.99.

So true. In all seriousness, it is $4 a can, you got hosed by a liquor store I assume?

Got hosed by the tax man more likely...Add taxes, and it's nearly $5/can... unless you're a glass half full kind of guy...

I've never thought of a 6.5% beer as just a "pale ale", weird how the ABV expectations have trickled up.

Also, I bought a 4-pack of DDH Pixel at Beer Cellar and it was $14.99 before tax. I've always thought Phase 3 hoppy beers are about as good a price as you can get (though I haven't loved all of them).

6.5% is a Pale Ale according to some, and 7.5% is a DIPA according to others. I don't know if it's ABV expectations trickling up, as much as it's nobody giving a *hoot* about what classifications mean any more. Just call it whatever you want!

I will certainly buy it if given the opportunity, but I am always wary of peanut butter in stouts. I love the "idea" of them but have never really seen it executed well. If anyone could, Shaun could though.
