Russian River (2020)

I picked up a bottle of Compunction from City Beer Store, and damn that’s a good beer!

 

Maybe now that they have some down time at the brewery they’ll finally bottle procrastination.

 

Looks like Pliny 4 President cans will be available again come the 15th of June. I recommend splitting a case....unless you drink all of it anyways. Stuff is tasty.

Having my first Pliny For President and wow! It’s everything you would want in a WCIPA. It’s sharp, piney, citrusy and just the right amount of bitterness. Not too much different than your standard Pliny but this is jumping right out at me. This 3 day old can is perfection.

 

How much does a case of Pliny for Pres cost? I want to get someone to go in but they’ll ask how much.

 

$138 for a case. They're all sold out right now though btw, will be re-canning June 15.

Last question, what’s the turn around time from order date to receiving the beer? I will in Central Ca from the 13th-19th. I could have the beer shipped to me there as the family member I am staying with would love to try it. However, if I have it shipped there and it’s late then that’s

 

Pre-ordered it when it when was posted on website, arrived the day after it said they would become available (i.e. available on the 26th, arrived on the 27th). This was a buddy's order, not mine personally, but he is in san diego.

 

I thought it was more like $157 for a case (24) or $116 for 16 cans?

 

For Pliny cans that were shipped, that is correct (although I think it's $160 for the case). A case at the brewery (Windsor/Santa Rosa) is $138. I know because I literally picked up a case at both locations on Tuesday.

 

Was that the limit?

I may be jumping the gun on this one but...
Is there anyone in the know that would have an idea how long pliny 4 prez will last at either of the breweries?
I saw from their Instagram,
1. The first batch lasted at least to a 2nd day before it sold out.
2. They had talked about a double batch, is that the current one?
3. The release at the breweries is Monday 15th @3pm.
Soonest I can get up there is Wednesday 2 days later. Anyone have any idea how long it will last?
