I am extremely excited about this. I would guess 2-packs, because they have done stout 2-packs before.
For me there is. I have an at-risk person in my family, so I won't be doing any shares for a long time.

That makes sense. I’m lucky enough to not be in that situation, and can definitely understand your precautions.

I am antibody positive so that should be a selling point you can use for the wife to let you hang!

Any BAISLBS hot takes? Seems like “drink fresh” is the rule of thumb with coffee and heavy adjuncts, but at this ABV I feel like this one may benefit from a little time. Also, I’ve had some of last year’s 12oz recently and thought it has held up nicely (in the fridge this whole time).

most of the reviews on Untappd so far show actual beer and 4.5 ratings, which makes me think people are actually drinking this vs trying to play the hype/flip game?

Hard to say with only 40% of the pickups done so far and the limit of 2. Plus proxies were allowed. I tend to think “drink one, trade one” will be common but they’re also having it on draft all weekend. I look forward to opening them soon. I did the French Toast ISLBS last night and thought it was really good

The 2018 version held up extremely well too. I think I drank my last one over a year after I bought it, and it was still great. Kind of surprising, because regular ISLBS turns terrible in a couple of months sometimes.

My first go at a BA ISLBS, is good though barrel didn’t blend as well as I hoped, a little hot. This is the first Mikerphone BA pour I found heavy on the barrel, if I had a bottle would sit on it.

Still great to be drinking at a brewery for the first time since Une Anne’s opening March 14th, seems like a very long time ago. Hope Chicago follows suit soon.

Everything well run out here, including set up, adherence to distancing, sanitation etc. Still miss a real glass, first world problems.

The Hazelnut pour is easily a top ten all time, if it’s available I suggest you grab this one.

Thank you kindly @tjk135 for your recommendation!!!

Mike and your team, thank you so much for this most excellent pour!

I stopped by today for my BA Hazel pickup and waited for 30 minutes for a table. Apparently it was 90 minutes yesterday with the great weather and the bottle releases. I thought BA Hazel was great. Plenty of barrel, plenty of Hazel along with some maple sweetness and a coconut finish. I think it’s a great beer ready to drink now.

I was lucky enough to get a table right away since I got there about 5:30 this evening. I thought regular BA Bean was better than BA Hazelnut. There’s an extra level of bitterness in the Hazelnut that detracted. I actually liked The Mikerphone 5 better than both of them, though.

On another note, I really liked the setup Mikerphone has with the extra patio space on the side. I’m sure that’s a huge help to their business.

yeah sounds like they’ll hopefully soon be able expand days with the patio and then add some patrons inside if Phase 4 comes later this month.

I know we're not supposed to say positive things on here, but...

Mikerphone is releasing "Sauce" today - the Single IPA version of Special Sauce. I'm pretty excited about this. Special Sauce back when he was brewing out of Une Annee (2 UA locations ago) was the first local NEIPA that I thought was worth tracking down and, to me at least, has consistently been very good when released.
