I drink so much Yards Pale it’s unrealistic. At 20 years of age It’s 4.6% ABV and 37 IBU. Cascade in the hopback, with Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe. With an OG of 11. It tastes like lemon verbena, sweet dough and Buddha’s hand. This could be mistaken for a hoppy kolsch to be fair. 19 ouncers are the move. I wonder who the door man is at Club Raul tonight. I have to find a way to get on that list. cheers

Thanks! They did have a blast and were a heck of a lot better at navigating the boulder field than I was. Not exactly sure why the rocks "ring." I guess I could look it up, but I'm fine with it being a mystery.

An improvement over last years batch. Soft, dank, nice bitterness.

 

At Green Cheek in Costa Mesa - this is my second time out to a brewery, and first time getting food. As you can see, I had a “Chicago” dog. The wiener was like warm but I didn’t complain. I have no problems saying that we lack in a few hints in SoCal, and dogs are one of them. Great beer though!
