Russian River (2020)

Has anyone gotten their Pliny 4 Prez delivery yet? GLS hasn't updated in two days for me.

 

I thought it was being released officially today and would be picked up and then we would get the shipment ~tomorrow.

 

My thread asking for "trading" was removed . Like, c'mon man, this is why no one uses beer advocate anymore. Lighten up.

You could at least let people initiate trades/mules in comments and then ask that they take it to the official trading forum. Too many rules for a beer website.

I've done dozens of trades thru untappd . It's safe without all your requirements as long as you're smart about it.

 

You're referring to the site that deleted my 2020 Highland Park Brewery thread because I made it at 9pm on December 31st.

GLS just updated to "scanned to line haul truck" and "scheduled delivery 6/17" for me, so looking like tomorrow is the day.

 

Total mad lad.

 

Same here, it’s scheduled for tomorrow.

 

Yeah, the GLS person is just leaving the boxes now without needing anybody home for a signature since I had to do the costco run this morning.

Good times.

 

Got done delivering a couple 4pks to other friends and grabbed some #wangz on the way home.

Canned just after noon yesterday, on my doorstep before 10am today.

 

When's the next batch of pliny for pres due out? I know we just got the 2nd batch, but gah tow mitee it is damn good and will be buying every chance russian river gives me!

 

Mine arrived at 4 p.m.

I am hoping one of you kind west coast Ba’ers can help with a quick price check on the wilds. Here in southeast PA, (Philadelphia suburbs) we see supplication, consecration, intinction, and temptation bottles run on an average price of about $17 per bottle.

On average, what do you west coast folks see these bottles sell for?

Just curious is all. Any help is greatly appreciated!

They’re around $15. Even at the brewery not much cheaper for the better stuff. $17 on the east coast is not a bad deal at all.

I usually see them for less than $15. $11.99-13.99 is what I usually see them for

 

I see them up here for $11.99 - $19.99 depending on which ones and who gets them.

 

I’m a delivery driver for UPS and we’ve been doing the same for the past couple months, but we’re supposed to still make contact. Glad it worked out but YMMV.

 

It seems to totally depend on your driver. My UPS driver who literally drops boxes off at our house everyday, thanks to my wife , the two times I’ve had an alcohol box has required a signature no matter what despite this guy knowing us inside and out. In contrast the GLS guy who has dropped off like 10 times alcohol only and never anything else doesn’t require a signature anymore. He just leaves it and signs for us.

 

Picked up a bottle of Jannemie and another Compunction. Drank both tonight, both great beers.
