    Do you think it's more of the brewery sending out a poor product to begin with, or like you also allude to - a distribution issue? Maybe a combination of the two...

    BCBS 2019. This is the first 2019 I've had. When I opened it, and then again when I drank it, I found the chocolate is stronger than in past years.

    This is quite a nice Kellerbier that has a surprising depth of character and complexity to it with its bready, grainy malt and somewhat unique mix of grassy, herbal, spicy and citrus hops for the style.

    The last of the 6er I purchased, I’ve really enjoyed this - cocoa flavors, a little smoky, and a crisp finish. My local had a case+ of 6ers on clearance (“Best By” date of 5/4/20) yesterday, I need to pick up another 6er - it’s the perfect “Hoppy followed by Malty” beer, IMHO.
