Seems @SierraNevallagash has distributed this winner of a pilsner to more than more BA, and I know for sure I'm grateful for it. Cheers, man!

Sorry friends. Hitting the cheap wine earlier than usual. Got a delivery today. Although my good friend @scream disapproves, he understands.

Got a few new games on Steam, Demolish 2018 and Hydroneer. Both are sandbox like building games. My IBS is acting up now too, which is not fun.

Working my way through the Voodoo Rangers I missed. Will keep a lookout for more. New Belgium American Haze. Awesome session NEIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate white bread, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; with herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Refreshingly smooth/soft, not aggressive, zero warming 5%, with minimal lingering hop burn after the finish. Awesome Strata, Amarillo, HBC 522 hop profile. Extremely juicy/vibrant hops with light dank/earthy notes; with a nice sized oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Another spot on brew for the series! 4.13

Yes. Not as prolific as Al Di Meola, but somehow more earthy and not so technically cold as I find Al's playing.

Seems I have a Bill Connors solo CD somewhere (probably on the ECM label). And as I recall, it wasn't that great. But I'll have to dig it up and re-evaluate it. Time has changed my tune on things (plus and minus) over the years...

And I do love De Meola's guitar on RTF cuts like 'Jungle Waterfall'...could be a Funkadelic guitar line...then, too, Stanley Clarke's bass line...

Thanks my friend. Actually it is stuff my wife likes. We have tried all kinds of wine, both cheap and not so cheap. Virginia wine and others but for whatever reason she does not see much of a difference so cheap Chardonnay it is. Me I do not give a damn. I would prefer bourbon after beer but anything with an alcohol content more than beer is fine with me.

    I agree. So sad.

Le Grande Monde from Une Anee in Niles, Illinois. I visited them briefly in December last year (I took a whole personal day to visit breweries during a business trip -- it was disconcerting). I really, really enjoyed the visit, and regretted that I had to be responsible and still get somewhere by car that day.

Anyway, it's quite tasty -- lots of vanilla and lemon (although the label says key lime). Smells like the lemon cake I made my wife for her birthday.

Semi-cloudy, peach colored body; lively, coarse carbonation; white head, a cross between soapy and creamy in texture. A pleasing citrus old citrus aroma; pineapple and tangerine. Definite tropical fruit presence at first sip; passion fruit, pineapple, banana; acidic and juicy; pointed hop bitterness at the finish. Medium body; tart and acidic; sharp and juicy; primarily sweet throughout the tasting experience.

A delicious and refreshing beer. It nails the tropical fruit character its name implies.

Thank god this one is pretty good. The Shakedown series is extremely inconsistent. Review here!
