All the dick, penis, schlong, wang, pecker, peter, member, boner, anaconda, schwanz, ****, jimmy, dingus, johnson, kielbasa, rod, pole, and meat flute (that’s all I could come up with off the top of my head; please feel free to supplement as needed @Dragginballs76) jokes aside, the generosity of this group knows no bounds.

This beer has me reflecting on the first time I had the chance to try Pliny. Not so much the beer drinking experience (which was great) but the circumstances through which the experience arose.

There was a BA thread circa 2013 or 2014 about your top “want” beers. These threads still pop up from time to time. I posted my list, including Pliny. A fellow whose name I could not even tell you today offered to send me a Pliny. I accepted. He rejected something in return and sent me this “whale,” as pictured here:



“DDH Pliny” in my glass (both sent by Bill) made me think about the first time I had the beer. I’m excited to compare the two, but more importantly, grateful for the circumstances leading to both these beers landing on my porch 3,000 baloney ponies (Thank you Google) away.

Two boxes landed today. I've heard from one recipient, but not the other. Perhaps they should check their front desk, reception area, or mail room. If they've already looked maybe they should check just one more time.

Sweet box landed today. Haven’t even heard of Twin Elephant but really digging their logo.
In addition to the sweet shirt and glass there’s a couple from Twin Elephant-Dr Octagon IPA and a Worker Drone crowler which may be my 1st cream ale. Also another new to me brewery, Tonewood, Stash DIPA. Thanks Anthony, I really appreciate it. It’s 109 degrees here today so these will take a while to get to temp. Going in fridge now, looking forward to them tomorrow.

Crap!! I've been found out. Not only did my (non-existent) assistant pack the box, they bought the beer, did some moderate QC and gave me attitude the entire time.

 

@zekeman17 sent me this kick ass thank you box for grabbing his assassin allotment awhile back. Forest & Main is a new brewery to me and I’m super excited to try these. The bottle of Marius sounds fantastic! Also included are two Tired Hands cans. LOVE Tired Hands beers. Can’t wait to try these. Thanks Jeff! Much appreciated but completely unnecessary. Cheers!
