Had a Pride and Joy last night that had to be infected, it tasted ridiculously awful. I had one sip and poured it out. Haven't ever had that problem with Three Floyds before.

Dark lord packages announced, seems pretty fair way of doing it. I can't link it but it is 3 vintage plus 1 vintage variant.

I'm guessing these will sell out immediately. Also guessing the variant will be random?

no doubt they sell out immediately and yes teh variant is random.

My question is will pickup be required immediately? I will be out of town that week and would really suck if I miss the chance on this because they did it 4th of july week.

The link says pickups won't even start until July 15th

Cost? I am guessing over $100.

$150 for the package, $50 for additional variant

Is this just your guess? I could pull the trigger on 150 but not sure about 200...

I have 34 bottles of regular Dark Lord. I am really not looking to add more. I would prefer to just buy a variant.

BTW, glorious Reptile fund is in the picture. Who wants to sign up for that?

Maybe it's the masochist in me (I drank Turtledogg willingly!), I'd be fine with Reptilefund.

Turtledogg taste may not have been to my liking, but it still had that big Dark Lord mouthfeel, the barrel was huge and maybe for the fist time ever, wasn't sweet! It was interesting. I'd expect similar from Reptilefund.

I actually really want Turtle dogg because I drink scotch. If some bottles pop up in the variant sale, I will probably actively try to trade for one

Another friend of mine drew Turttledogg variant that year and traded it to a guy that really enjoys scotch. The feedback from that guy was very positive and he started looking for more bottles.

I never had TD, but I had Dia Oscuro from the year before. I'm not the biggest scotch drinker, but I loved it. IMO it works very well with the base cutting out the sweetness. I much preferred it to the wine barrel variants.

Is that $150 for the three +1 variant package and then $50 for an extra variant if you want?

    Or $200 for three + 1 variant?

Good news everyone, you have one less person to compete against. I’m out at those prices.

Sounds like the former. I found the comment.

I guarantee you someone is going to have a package set up and lose it because their 1 additional variant is gone when they checkout.

The Dessert style variants are clearly the preference. That being said, a non-super sweet variant could be a real let down for somebody who does not want it.
