Supermassive is awesome! If you love black coffee, you’ll love this. Good job by you Rev!

easiest drive thru beer pickup ever. Great Rev beer release again. Pulled up into check in and provided my ID, told to pull into one of the 5 tent stations, beer dropped into car. can't wait to try one as I really loved it when it was on tap.

I had Supermassive and Ten Year tonight. I definitely liked both though I imagine *when* you have Supermassive will be key. Even cold stored, this beer could be a shell of itself by September. Really great coffee forward stout

Release was SUPER easy, I was in and out in under 5 minutes.

I hope they never go back to the old way!

I thought it was very KBS Espresso-esque. When there's this much coffee involved (and I do love coffee) I have a feeling it's the nature of the beast. Damn good, but given the choice if they were both on a shelf, and nothing against Rev as this IS fantastic for coffee lovers, but I'd snag the "discounted" Founders. My .02. Being that I can't get KBS Espresso at the moment, I'll pay up and still drink happily.

I think it’s way better than KBS-espresso. I found KBS espresso more bitter and thinner. Supermassive is smoother and has more coffee flavor than bitterness IMHO

Ok guys. I’ll do a side by side this weekend for science, and settle it for you.

Yeah, I haven't had a can of Supermassive yet but I actively disliked espresso KBS for being far too one-note and loved Supermassive. Espresso KBS has a much darker roast on it that overwhelms everything else whereas Supermassive has a lighter roast which blends wonderfully with the stout/barrel notes.

Isn't KBS Espresso like 7 months old now too?

Yeah, I agree with most others here. While both KBSE and Supermassive have in your face coffee, the base stout of KBS just doesn’t come close to Deth these days. I did a side-by-side with KBSE and Cafe when they were both fresh, and I could barely finish the KBSE after drinking the Cafe.

Mixed Berry Ryeway is the next Deep Woods release per the Supermassive Zoom call. I believe Marty said it's only a few weeks out.

Supermassive Cafe Deth is not a misnomer. Fantastic beer.

To add on, they mentioned Cherry specifically. Not sure about other fruits that would suit the beer but I may guess Blackberry

They only mentioned the cherry notes being picked up from the barrel in the new Mixed Berry Ryeway. Going back to the Zoom call on May 1st when they first announced this beer, the 4 berries being added are: cranberry, raspberry, blackberry, and boysenberry.

I will say, I feel like I am even more hyped for this release because they really blew me away with how well they did strawberry straight jacket. I was super skeptical of that one, and it was delicious. I assume this will be as good or better. Here's hoping this release mirrors the Supermassive release.

Hey @BeerCruncher any updates on the BA rye stout collab with Binnys?

OMG - I almost spit out my Ryeway... Cracking my ass up - well played!
If you were on the call yesterday, you get this joke...

My general feeling is: "Don't fuck with my RYEWAY!"
But I am with you in really looking forward to this one, especially for the summer. I am guessing it will be a bit less ABV like Deth by Cherries (13.7), Currants (13.6) and Plums (11.7) and Strawberry Jacket (13). But those are all pretty damn potent.
