    Very different. Nice. Interesting.
Just don't go on The Newlywed Game.

    **IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING UPDATE**

Due to the holiday, #SaisonSaturday is being temporarily rebranded as #FarmhouseFriday.

This will be placed into effect immediately.

    Thank you,

I was briefed that Saturday, particular this one, should include a priority on frozen beverages. I’m happy to oblige.

Heck man, it's going to be 89 degrees here in Northern Virginia, a slushie sounds great. Although, so does a bone dry saison with some nice funk to it too.

Wild Rivulet (first time Oxbow was responsible for the “wild” part) is available. That’s a magical beer.

fun fact: I was the first person (non-person involved) to taste the original rivulet.

As for #FarmhouseFriday, we did Again & Again and Vernacular. Again, we were at odds. My better half enjoyed Vernacular while I preferred Again & Again (which I think is the best of my latest Oxbow stash so far, but I’ve got quite a few left).

#SaisonSaturday rolls on with Beersal Mattina, Newcastle Morning, and Logsdon farmhouse.

Next week, I think I’m going to bolster my saison stash at Silvaticus. I got a lambic mailed to me by Pure Project in San Diego. I’m stoked about that one.

If this #SaisonSaturday gets enough of a following, it may even earn a dedicated thread.

Just wanted to second that Grand Royal and Seaworthy are legit.

I only bought a single of Grand Royal after some fairly boring Helles lagers from other breweries and definitely wished I got a 4-pack. Tons of flavor and a surprisingly bitter backbone that didn’t come off as overly hoppy.

Seaworthy as an IPL is a nice change of pace. Love the reasonable 6.5% abv and very tasty.

How is Forest/Maine? Highly acidic? Will be up there in few days and may buy a bottle, but I have been more partial to muted acidity lately.
