Short's Brewing 2020

Yes they are.

 

To my knowledge, party stores have been open during this entire COVID thing, although some owners may have shut down temporarily or had online ordering and/or curbside pick-up only.

 

Sitting here drinking a Spruce Pilsner, such a great beer for a warm day. Any day for that matter. It holds up so well over time. Really hope we see 6 packs this year, since it won the tourney. They already posted its getting brewed, fingers crossed it sixers.

 

They could alternate between MMB and Mule beer in 12 packs of cans and I'd be happy.

 

Shandy variety pack was just announced. Melt my Brain, Rosie, Power of Love, Scooter.

The timing of this release is just a bit off. I'm sitting here minding the ribs and chicken in my smoker and wishing that I had a few of the MMBs to cool me down.

 

My store got them this past Thursday, but yeah last years timing of June release was much better.

 

That's BIG news! I hope it works for them.

I wonder if Short's has been brewing on the former Arcadia equipment which might give them the extra capacity to expand to NYC or elsewhere. Anybody know?

 

I'm a Short's lover, and it's really the brewery that got me into craft beer with all its unique and constantly rotating options, but I had MMB one time and it was one of the worst beers I'd ever tasted, very medicinal. Maybe I should try again.

 

Going to be up at Torch this weekend. Looking forward to hitting Short's a couple times!

 

I also hit Shorts this weekend, and they had fresh Spruce Pilsner! Might be the best batch yet. Also Crayon Ponyfish was quite tasty, and they had Prolonged Enjoyment on tap. Overall a fantastic visit.

 

Bottles (hopefully) can’t be that far away.
