If hints are different for x and y you remain crossed off my list

 

I'm a former Rochesterian myself, my parents still live in Fairport. Also, out!

 

Unintentionally I have realized that one of my hints is incorrect. I COULD drive to both targets in the same 24 hours. Sorry guys

Today was full of surprises. Not only was I unaware that Fedex delivers on Sundays around here, I also didn't know that they delivered so late in the day.

@thatoneguymike apparently has some tricks up his sleeves. As if Savage rounds aren't chaotic enough, all of the beers that he sent me aside from one are blind.


Here is where I would gush about all of the cool beers in the box. I guess we will have to postpone the flattery. I do love a good lager though! All of the cans were numbered except one, so that one along with #1 and #2 are chilling now.


Love the dog bowl! Its a really cool piece of brewery swag that I've never seen before.


Mike hit a home run with food items, they all look fantastic! I'm a big fan of pepper jelly, spice is always a want for me, I really enjoy BBQ too, and who doesn't love sweet tea. Thank you Mike! I'm really excited to start exploring this mystery box.

 

Either @thatoneguymike is my second sender, or he really just wanted to destroy my porch! I received this devastating salvo of Monday Night Brewing goodness along with a couple from Creature Comforts and Wild Leap. There's some super exciting stuff in here like a quadruple dry hopped IPA and a beer-wine hybrid, which I don't believe anyone here knows as I haven't updated my preferences, but is quite possibly my favorite style. A year ago I attended a pre-festival mixer for brewers that was literally next door to the MNB Garage location and I wanted to check it out but the room was full of pitchers of Equilibrium, Aslin, Southern Grist, etc, and it seemed dumb to go pay for beer at that moment. Then in the winter my wife got to visit (and got me an awesome plaid shirt) but couldn't bring any beer back. So I'm super excited to finally get to try a good selection of their stuff!



Unfortunately it seems like the packing material moved around a lot, leaving the beer in one big clump on the side of the box and they beat it with bats or something. As my wife said, "That box has seen some shit."



As a result, this tasty-sounding brew completely leaked out the bottom of the box, turning it into boozy-smelling mush but they delivered it anyway. Go Fedex!

 

Holy crap that is one beat to hell box. Someone must have been having a bad day.

Haha holy shit @r0rschach !!! With it being like that, I'm surprised that's the only one that didn't make it!

That said, you were not one of my Savage targets, I had to get you back on sharing all of the Martin House treats with me. Cheers dude, I'll get you another Dr. robot key lime and others as I run across them.

Hah, no worries on that one can! I was also surprised the rest were intact, especially the bottles. Thanks so much for the awesome haul, and I am already accumulating more Martin House goodies for you.

 

well, they have at least one other wine hybrid, and I know where it's still on the shelf, so, you'll have more coming one day ;D

@thatoneguymike has been busy, I also got a massive box from Mike today.


First thing I took out of the box was a Magic Wand box, previously opened, but it had something in it. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was not a used magic wand, never know with this crew, it was filled with some beers.


Those were the only beers to reveal themselves. And damn, they look tasty! The other 15 beers are blind!?!? Unprecedented!


Also included was a dog bowl from Orpheus, some hot sauce, Sweet Tea, BBQ sauce, and Pepper Jelly. The wife was particularly excited for the hot sauce. The new pup will be drinking in style.
