Yes, they said the person picking it up has to match the name on the credit card. I suppose if your proxy would give you their CC number, you could get it done (possibly?)

Darklordday.com now has all potential vintages listed. For those of you with political leanings, Trump and Pump is available!

3 packages per person seems unnecessary. Even I'm not that nuts...probably...

Do they have that much of it that they are willing to give 1 person 3 allocations? Wow

For $600 you get six variants and nine bottles of aged regular. I’ve seen people pay $300 cash for one variant. I’m thinking many people will try to max it out.

Imagine shelling out $150 and getting rotten ‘14 and Trump & Pump, lol.

    Easiest pass of all time.

Acquiring so much beer when having so few shares may make people less likely to max out maybe? I know I'm certainly buying less right now being unable to have big beer shares these days. I'll probably just do a 2 variant allocation.

Trump and Pump scores are BA and Untappd are pretty solid. There are far worse variants available.

I just wanna know why the hell they were sitting on so many bottled variants from past years.

I'm likely going to get one allotment of the 3+2 if I'm quick enough.

Getting 3 of them would be preposterous for me... granted I also spent $600 on Tree House IPAs in one trip so what the f**k am I talking about?!

Also, this is likely going to be such a huge cash influx for 3Floyds. Just think, they are basically charging the same as attending Dark Lord Day except they don't have to do any of the prep work or have any costs associated with the fest. If they indeed do need cash, this is a good way of going about it. And with the 3PP limit, it sounds like they don't give a shit who's buying it or for what, as long as the dough rolls in.

You can probably drink 3-4 Tree House in one evening. Dark Lord is a commitment. Can anybody realistically drink a bottle by themself in one day?

I've done it. It's possible. I'm not going to say it was enjoyable to finish a whole reg on my own, but it happened. A few people know but last year's DLD ended up being my bachelor party of sorts (we had a BIG group of folks), and they all left me their regulars. I must have had 25+ reg DL 19s. I solo domed the one, and traded/gave away the rest. I deemed that one solo doming of DL enough for at least a year.

Just for science, I would be interested to check you blood/sugar level after doming a bottle.

Really sucks that they aren’t allowing proxies. Congrats to all locals.

I pretty much only drink DL by myself...but I drink by myself a lot. That said, these days it’s much harder for me to do with a non-BA version. I’ve been burning through my cellar this lockdown and I've found French pressing it with more coffee helps me.

I drank a '17 regular to myself the other night and the entire time I was thinking how I would never buy more of this, without a festival at least...

I just dropped a vanilla bean in and let it sit for a few hours and it was pretty enjoyable.
