Early on there was also a Black IPL. I remember getting a growler of it. I could be wrong, but I think it was called Cascadian Schwarzbier. It had just been packaged, and the hop aroma was magnificent. I used to love a good black IPA (or in this case, a black IPL). The style has virtually disappeared.

 

Yup, I first picked it up at Redstone. I used to shoot the shit with Kamel back then and just talk beer. He raved about Kiwi Rising. This is back when it was a closet-sized liquor store next to Shaw’s.

 

Was my wife's favorite beer. They did so well.

 

Wow, going way back with that reference. I like it.

 

Woah, I totally forgot about that one. Think I had a few growlers of that.

 

Cut through the Haze 12 pk has shown up in upstate NY. Exactly what I want for summer drinking. Already regretting not just buying the second right away.

Still haven't seen any dry hopped Post Shift. Thinking we likely got skipped?

 

@JacksAbbyBrewing is "Das Weizen" from Springdale coming out this year?

 

Oh yeah, batch out right now and I'd pick up some of the Novella too, dry-hopped Belgian blonde perfect for summet drinking. There's a brewers mix pack too, comes with das weizen, novella, kolsch money and bier amer, a kolsch with orange and bitters (man, joe loves cocktail beers!).

Yeah, have been checking the beer finder and nothing showing up at any distance. Will just have to drown my sorrows by purchasing a ridiculously low priced 6x16oz of "regular" Post Shift. Or more likely another killer mixed 12 pk. Cheers.

 

I think the Keller Series is made in small, rotating batches. Great Idea if possible.

I'd like to see a Dark Beer mixed pack (non-Baltic Porters). I was gifted a Framinghammer mixed pack, great Beer just not what I'm looking for at this time of year.

Is Cut Through the Haze gone already? I went to Yankee today and they didn't have it.

 

Found a couple lingering four packs of dry hopped post shift. Terrific beer.

 

Anyone else notice issues with loading @JacksAbbyBrewing newsletter emails in Gmail on a desktop browser (huge CPU spike, locks up the browser for a few seconds)? Appears to be related to header images but not 100% sure. It's better on the Gmail app on IOS but still not great.

 

This happens on my Samsung using the outlook app, can view fine when on my desktop.

 

We'll revisit Das Weizen again for proper Copper Legend season, too.

It's true, I love me a cocktail beer. I also loved Deep Ellum, and it was the first place I was introduced to "Picon Biere," so the timing was right to pay sly tribute. Someone's gotta keep craft beer weird, anyhow.

 

Is Das Weizen seeing distribution?
