3 Floyds Brewing (2020)

I fell for the same ploy. And with the addition of the 2011, 12, 13, and 15 bottles, I was suckered into it. Hoping I don't regret this decision pulling out of the parking lot.

 

I was on the fence as well. I got through and panicked and clicked 3 of the 5 packs...when the price popped up I risked going backwards to scale that quantity down to something less impulsive.

 

3 5 packs? Wow. I really think they should've limited it to 1 per person.

 

To be clear, I stayed strong and didn't buy. I was worried that might happen to me. Side Project going to online sales and allowing proxies has wrecked my beer finances. Otherwise I would be loading up. Regardless, enjoy your Aquavit BA DL!

 

Oh man, I didn't notice that they added some really old ones. Now they're definitely adding insult to injury and giving me 2015 Aquavit as my one variant.

 

I agree and just to clarify, I I was able to adjust my purchase to one 5 pack without having to start all over again.

 

haha...that one doesn't scare me as much as greatest teachable moments. untapped checkin describes flavor profile as dishwater and dick. not quite the taste i'm dropping 200 for.

 

Mine did that and then I got to the end and it then said sold out for the other one

 

How the hell does FFF have a website that doesn't crash or turn into a disaster for something like this but an actual ticketing website like brown paper tickets can't get things to work right?

I'm not pleased with those late adds to the bottle list even though just straight BBDL is perhaps my favorite variant. I was most afraid of getting GTM before but still kinda curious. I hate anise and aquavit is something I'm dreading far more than any of the other possibilities. My wife and I both got vintage bottles instead of a variant in 2017 so I'm hoping we're owed good karma.

That said, there seem to be a couple fans of even the hated variants. The one exception is GTM; has anyone actually been a fan of that one?

I haven't tried that many different variants, but I have had Trump and Pump and Temeculan 3000, both of which fall under the "hated" category (especially Temeculan). I actually really liked T&P, and I did enjoy Temeculan, although less so. I don't think that there's any variant I would truly hate. That being said, I'd prefer to get a Handjee and CTM in my 5-pack.

 

Can someone post the whole and most up to date list of possible variants/bottles? I never saw the expanded one and I’m apparently incapable of navigating their website to find this info.

Without knowing what’s on that list, I’d like to find Pappy BADL and FVM 16 in my tote. Realistically, it will be two Turtledoggs.

For 2011, it's the Brandy variant. So not the Pappy or Brandy Vanilla variants that people would lose their shit over.

I'm probably late on this but I noticed Pillar of Beasts finally hit distro. Just grabbed a pack from Binnys.

 

$25/4 pack beats the price of the single bomber by far and in a better drinking package. Not much to dislike with this other than I still have a bomber in the basement from last year.
