    Just wanted to take a moment to publicly thank our mods. Some focus on moderating the forums, some focus on your endless requests to updates beers/places, and some do both, but they all deserve our thanks for volunteering their time to help us make BeerAdvocate a better place.

    So a big THANKS to @dbrauneis @dmbforever @DVMin98 @EmperorBevis @JamFuel @John_M @MasterSki @metter98 @Roguer @Shanex @slander @Snowcrash000 and @UncleJimbo.

    And please join me in welcoming @Electros and @FBarber to the mod team! (Be gentle. They just became mods.) And look for more additions as we look to expand the mod team globally.

    Updates for beer and places adding and changing stats adding pictures for both everything that we submit has to be endless and is done in a timely manner by them....Thanks to the Mods.

    So much of the work of these fine individuals goes unnoticed on a daily basis. Thanks for doing what you do best. I've been able to complete 30 trades in my short tenure and this site has led me to awesome folks and some of the best beer that i would otherwise never have access to experience. Many thanks to you folks and please keep up the good work!! You will continue to have my support!!

    You’re welcome Todd, Jason and the wider community.

    I’m for sure very honored to be a mod here at BeerAdvocates. I’m pretty sure I was the first European Mod on BA too, back in Jan 2019 when I was appointed.

    I’m mostly focusing on moderating the forums, more rarely the places/beers and approving photos and also discuss behind the scenes some issues with Todd. Oh yes, the dreaded Bad Trader forum too.

    A heartfelt kudos and huzzah to the mods for all their efforts. Thanks for keeping the forums in line and from preventing us from fully devolving into our worst selves.

    Thanks to all mods, but a particular high-five to @John_M . He got stuck with the duty of riding shotgun over the NW forum.

    We might not be the most lively forum, but, we often speak in haiku, or limmerick. It ain't easy herding Cascadians.

    Thanks to the Mods. I found an IPL yesterday that wasn’t reclassify to the new listed style yet, sent in a report and it was fixed <24hrs. Awesome expeditious work there. So when a person is appointed a MOD Is there a hazing ritual? I’m envisioning Todd locking the new recruit in the trunk of a car with a bottle of KBBS and a few Cantillons and they have to drink them all before being let out to join the fraternal order of MODS. Then they get their turtleneck, barret and trendy scooter!
