Had to come post this in the forum to blow off some steam. Today was going to be my first delivery of Micheal Jackson rare beer club. It said it was delivered at 327pm(which is wierd since i thought you have to sign). Of course I come home to No box!!! UPS stated they dont have to get someone to sign and as far as they are concerned the box was delivered. The beer club said they would make good on it, but I as just Fing pissed after waiting all day and getting so excited for my first club shipment. Thanks for listening I feel a little better(a little). Just for this crap Im going to open my 2010 bcbvs. Dam you whoever is drinking my beer now.

Beer clubs send out beer without an adult signature required??? When I belonged to one many years ago, they sure did.

OOOOO man that sounds like a nice...er substitution/man tear drowner. I do have a Bramble BCBS but don't think I could handle a bomber myself tonight but I'll toss back something nice while shooting hate rays at the thief's direction.

Sorry to hear that Chad. Usually if a store or beer club ships alcohol they require an adult signature. I'm surprised they don't require an adult signature. Of course us beer traders just send ground with no sig since it is cheaper and easier. I just txt'd a friend who has been in that club awhile to see what he says.

Maybe it didnt get stolen? I have read stories on here of packages being delivered to neighbors by accident.

Imagine the look on the wayward soul's face when, instead of an iPad in the box, there sits an obscure Belgian beer.

Then he decides to open it since he might as well drink it, spits it out, and says something like "What is this gay stuff" This isn't beer!".

I've been a member to the RBC for 3 months now --- the first 2 packages I needed to sign, but the last one was left out with other amazon boxes.

Or maybe he loves it and becomes a craft beer drinker, he then comes to BA, sees this thread, and repays the OP with a box full of whales!

Sadly it sounds like an instance of the OP losing more than the (alleged) thief gained. I'll pour some out (into a separate glass, to be imbibed in honour of the lost beer) for the poor stolen pour

Actually, if this was November's box... it was The Bruery's 5 Golden Rings and Rodenbach Vintage 2010.

I imagine a 20-something taking one sip of the Rodenbach, making a face like a baby eating a lemon, and immediately throwing the bottle directly into a brick wall.

I actually am getting more of the Rodenbach in my December shipment. That stuff was divine. Golden Rings... needs those 7 more years suggested on the bottle of aging.

This happened to one of my recent trades.

Let's say I live at 342 X Street -- It way delivered to another house in the neighborhood 242 Y Drive. Not really close, just pure Fedex Laziness. Luckily no one lives at 242 Y Drive and I was able to grab it before anyone else.
