Just got off work and finished video chatting with a new doctor. Apparently my cholesterol is too high. Beer is good for that right? Tastes expired. Also small rant. If it's too fucking dangerous to see a doctor in person maybe spending 8 hours a fucking grocery store on a holiday can fuck off. Seriously fuck this insurance tied to a job shit.

The sweet spot for me is double IPAs. Triple IPAs on average seem to not taste much better than double IPAs but at a significantly higher ABV. And IPAs seem to not have the same flavor as double IPAs. So with just a slight increase in ABV you can have a more flavorful beer with a DIPA than an IPA.

But I drink a fair share of Corona, Pabst, and Budweiser so what do I know.

You picked a beer that matched the color of your kayak.

It depends on who's brewing it. I find the majority of triples to be overly syrupy, and they don't hide the elevated abv well. As for doubles, I would generally agree with that sentiment. They tend to pull more flavor. In comparison, though, Julius clocks in at 6.8% and I'd put that up against anything. The IPA market is saturated right now, truly. I have no problem spending my money where it's executed properly.

How many tests were taken over a period of time that the level was too high and was it ridiculously higher than 200?

Not playing doc but I have been down this road!

And yes, beer is a cure all according to my late dad.

Last test was close to 200 around Halloween last year apparently.

I wasn't planning on drinking beer earlier today, but a bottle fell out of my garage refrigerator and onto the concrete. Luckily, no broken glass, just a popped bottle cap, so I salvaged most of the beer...

It camouflages the drunk kayaking statute of which I was in violation.

I was let go with a warning. So now I’m drinking a von Trapp Dunkel and sitting on the dock of the lake.
