[IMG] Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass canned on 6/18/20. Pours a hazy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves spirals of lace all over the sides. 4.5

Smell is papaya, mandarin, ripe melon, pineapple, peach, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows papaya, mandarin orange, pineapple, honeydew, peach, and apricot. 4.5

Mouthfeel is a big medium, a tad sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.1% ABV it is really easy drinking. 4.5

Overall this is a very nice NEDIPA. I figured a collaboration with these 2 breweries would be excellent, but $14.99 a 4 pack and ultra fresh yes please. 4.5

Yeah, well not sure about what @Justonemore91 said, but it clearly is a shell of its former self. That's not the EQ I enjoyed. It was worth every penny. I'm sorry, sir.

Looks like sewage water. Batch inconsistencies and oxidizd cans are becoming a norm with these neipas. That is suppose to be one of Equilibriums juiciest offerings. Sorry about the bad beer. Your first Equilibrium experience should have been glorious one.

Starting my 4-day weekend with a big pour of a fine American Porter. Have a great long weekend, Advocates, and be grateful that we are not Brits (though we welcome their beers).

16 oz can, canned on 5/14/20 (49 days ago)

Appearance: Very dark brown, bordering on black. Thick, billowing, tan foam.

Smell: roasted malt, old leather, no hop aroma

Taste: Bitter chocolate, dark roasted malt but no acrid/burnt stout-like flavor (thus appropriate for an American Porter). Just a hint of sweetness on the finish, possibly due to the use of oats as an adjunct in the grain bill. (I assume this from the beer name; I cannot find any information online about the use of oats in this beer.)

    Mouthfeel: luscious, creamy, oaty

Overall: An excellent American Porter with a creamy mouthfeel and lovely roasty flavor profile. At 6.7% ABV, this will warm you up on a chilly evening, especially in the tall can serving style.

Larry you inspired me to buy a guitar again when I move because i will need a new hobby. I grew up playing guitar, but in my rough teen years lost that talent. My wife suggested i revisit so i am going to buy a martin gpc11e to start. Just beginning again.

    Cheers

By the way really interested in nylon strings.
