    Have a good Saturday, and Independence day for the US. Hit another slump so I slept for over 15 hours. Did have some interesting dreams about time travel and manipulation, so it was pretty cool. Been seeing some interesting things lately interestingly enough. Rest of the day will be playing games. I was playing a lot of online Chess yesterday.

    New Belgium Voodoo Ranger 1985 IPA. Excellent NEIPA. Opaquely hazy. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart/tangy mangoes, melon, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6.7% or lingering hop burn after the finish. Great Citra, Simcoe, Cascade profile. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit with light dank/earthy notes; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. No complaints as expected. Love the VR series.

    Can poured into a nonic

    Served at room temp , fluffy two finger taupe foam cap over motor oil liquid. Decent retention , settles to a thin layer with some lacings

    Aroma is sweet caramel, brown sugar, roasted coffee, sweet cream

    Taste is roasted coffee, hint of sweet caramel, slight metallic taste

    Coffee taste lingers, slight coffee bitterness lingers , thin body , low sudsing

    Good beer

    Yesterday’s sunrise, today is rainy & gray :slight_frown:

    Happy 4th advocates even though it might not feel like a holiday around these parts, I hope you all have a great day with your family. Buddy sent me some treehouse so i will be sharing it with my brothers as we throw a smaller BBQ get together this year. Be well and be safe advocates cheers

    Picked up a new to me thrift store glass just for the occasion. There's a 1973 copyright on the back so I imagine it's been around for a while. The beer is good although I'm still not a big fan of brett yeast.

    I'm about to pour some whiskey and then grab a nap before another overnight shift. Whether you are red, blue, white, black or something entirely different, I'm glad we can all have a beer here together today. Happy Birthday America and cheers all!
