Got into the blind beer from @Nichols33 tonight. Upon cracking thought, based on color and nose, a peanut butter stout.

As I poured, thought it might be a little thin to be a stout, but peanut butter was prevalent, as it was in the first few sips.

And the reveal...

As peanut butter, coffee, dark chocolate milk stout from Mast Landing. Really enjoyed this Jeff. Thank you.

For sure getting some barrel on the nose. First sip chocolate and some heat. As it warms I get maybe some coffee, Heat smooths. This is nice. Similar to the Burnt Hickory from Sat but a little more subtle.



Westbrook Mexican Cake ‘17! I was going to guess that on Sat with the Burnt Hickory, but didn’t throw it out. Again felt it might be since a Westbrook Gose was in the box. Glad to try this again. Thanks Mike!

 

Love that beer. Interesting fact: it doesn't actually contain any nuts.

 

Had the coffee version recently was tremendous and again no nuts missed the ba version sadly

All good, man! I was just making sure that you were aware. I should have included a regular MC for comparison. But I didn't, so who's the dummy now?

 

A great box from Dixie landed today. @Dragginballs76 walloped me with a killer box of 100% Carolina goodness.

Mike saw that I had not had anything from Charles Town Fermantory so he goes ahead and drops 9 cans on me. They include Tropical Creamsicle sungazer IPA, Churned Milk stout with chocolate, caramel, almond, & vanilla, Yacht party lager, Maser IPA, Sungazer IPA, Ralf Zwickel, Berry Berry Blueberry Pie sour, Wegbier lager, & Pallet Rider IIPA. Hit a bunch of style wants here that I can't wait to try. Also a sweet CTF 3rd Anni glass. A 5% blind beer, Westbrook Peanut Butter Milkshake (sounds fun), Brewery Bhavana Sylvan 2018 Saison (favorite style and the BC I had Monday was great), Barrel Culture Pie Time sour with a boat load of berries (looks awesome). Some grits (gonna make cheese grits) and the peanuts that I have heard so much about. I'm not telling the family about them because they are Savage in their own way and will just eat them all like they did with @y2kawakami 's chocolate macadamias and @bl00 's berger cookies. Mike you crushed it with this box! This is the second box that he has hit me with in the last 3 weeks. Beyond generous of you. Thank you!

 

So I got into the blind beer from @Dragginballs76

Pours clear yellow with a great head into that awesome CTF anni glass he just sent. Love it! Only aroma that I can get is sweetness, thinking lactose and maybe vanilla. Taste is creamy tart with lemon and more sweetness. Maybe some pie crust in there too. This strikes me as tart and not a sour, and there is a thicker mouthfeel so my guess is a lemon meringue pie milkshake.
And the reveal...

Thanks Mike, sometimes I think my sour meter is broken. This was very tasty by the pool on a really hot night. Cheers!
