I nominate Bell's Oberon, Dale's Ale, Florida Cracker (Cigar City) and Sam Adams New England IPA.....

Since state and local pricing can be drastically different, would recommend instead of the <$10 threshold to just be best inexpensive summer beer six packs. For instance SNPA can be anywhere from $6.99- $11.99 a Sixer depending on location.

That Sierra Nevada/ Bitburger dry hopped lager sure is a tasty summer beer and pretty cheap Sixer.

As long as you're OK with your "summer beer" being canned the previous January...:astonished:

They just hit my area about a month ago so it dropped after Memorial Day!

Check the dates, and be wary if it's more than 4.5 months old. My last sixer was starting to show some age at around 5 months.

Just to clarify that this thread isn't necessarily about summer seasonals, but more beers to enjoy in bulk during the warmer weather?

In that case either Jack's Abby Post Shift or Konig Pilsner are great bang for the buck.

Yes to all of the above and a big yes to any of the available, lighter-bodied Samuel Adams Beers. Very reasonably priced Lagers and Ales, available in bottles.

    Chee-airs.

Can't beat a six pack of Jack's Abby House Lager tallboys for $9.99 (at my locals anyway). And if you want hops, Hoponius is only a buck more.

Going by the title, I was under the impression that the scope was relatively session-able Beers, and 6 packs under $10. I would have suggested a 4x16 (cans) of several Jack's Abby Beers right off the bat.

    Cheers.

Was surprised and happy to see this back on the shelf the other day, since I bought it often earlier in the year. Flipped over the sixpack and the canning date was (also) early in January :astonished: WTF. So, not a new shipment but a "found in the back room" or from a "lost pallet" in some warehouse....

Live Oak Pilz, Gold and Hefe are about as good as it gets for me (though I drink those pretty much year round anyway).

TRVE lower is less than 10 a sixer, and at 2.8 % it's a crushable grisette. Cold and scorn both fit the bill as well.

Yeah, it looks like some stores did a better job of managing their inventory during the lockdown than others, and are seemingly back to normal now. Fortunately for me, my local Gary's is one that did, and that's where I can get my JA beers.

Jack’s Abby House Lager is the answer, not only because it’s a wonderful brew, but because the 6 packs are made up of 16oz cans. Hell yeah.

You're not wrong, but JA's Sunny Ridge beats both of those and still $9.99/16oz 6 pack.
Dortmunder Gold would also be available acceptable answer.

Picked up a 6 of Sour Monkey (<$10) Monday. It would make a fine summer beer if it was 4.5 ABV instead of 9.5
