I know a lot of people who resemble that remark. The Rolls Royce Merlin has as much or more to do with that sentiment than most realize. The Merlin/Packard engine changed the anemic Allison powered North American P-51 Mustang into the MONSTER the Army Air Corps needed for long range bomber escort that changed the war. The Hawker Hurricane was also a Monster in the beginning of The Battle Of Britain which started today in 1940. Some guy said named Winston said it the best, "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few."

Wow, it's been ages since I've seen fresh Captain's Daughter locally. It's sooo good! I wish I could always find it less than a month old. Hopefully this is a portent. Cheers!

I guess they haven't been too successful at marketing it. It was/is part of the Zeunerts brand for Kopparbergs but they have never managed to get it in too many stores, and most Zeunerts beers have fallen by the wayside, especially since Kopparbergs closed down the brewery. I noticed recently that it was available for order by the bottle so I figured what the hell, it might not be around for too long.

It's worth a tick at least. Just be sure you set your expectations low and remember it's the equivalent of 13kr per 33cl and you should be fine . I also ordered a bottle of Zeunerts Merke and a can of Original which I plan on doing a side by side with tomorrow to see if there's actually a difference between the two, I've been wondering that for years (I've had Merke only once on draft, and Original a bunch of times).
