New Beer Sunday (week 803)

So yesterday was Sunday and I picked this up at a sandwich shop in Old Orchard beach. I knew nothing about the brewery besides someone at my second job asked if we had it. I saw it was canned on 7/7/2020 and new I needed to try it. My son spilled the first one on accident, but not this morning.

Poured into a 13 oz long stem tulip. Pours a hazy orange with a massive 2 plus finger head, that leaves big thick streaks of lace yielding amazing retention. 4.75

Smell is tangerine, ripe melon, pineapple, papaya, passionfruit, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows tangerine, cantaloupe, passionfruit, papaya, pineapple, and apricot really really tasty and balanced, crazy low on bitterness and very juicy. 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, really soft carbonation, slightly sticky but never dry, and at 7% goes down really easy but packing loads of flavor. 5

Overall I will be looking for more of this one from Boothbay Craft Brewery. I am very impressed with this NEIPA Thirsty Botanist. 4.75
