Last of the coolish days for a bit. 80 and a nice breeze. A nice brew to go with the weather. Float from Well Crafted Beer Company in Lansdale PA. Cheers!

Awesome. I have one stashed for later this fall.
$14.99 sounds like a real good price
    Cheers!

This is a rather unusual and unique "New England" IPA that is a lot more heavy on the herbal, dank and resinous notes than the juicy, tropical ones. Pretty nice in its own way though, with a good bitterness.

Cooling off on this hot, humid Thursday with a Surf Casting from Oxbow. More tart/saline salt and lime and less farmhouse funk than I was expecting, but I'm enjoying it immensely.

did you know there was a bike shortage? have been picking up used bikes at thrift stores over the past 3-4 months and selling them for a tidy profit.....who knew?

I think I have sold around 12 bikes for $800 or so profit.....not bad!

One of the best readily available beers in Denmark. You can find it pretty much everywhere, from shady dive bars to the smallest super markets and it's a stellar beer. Cheap as well. What's not to like?

Yesterday was fun so figured I'd join in again here. Opened up this old bottle to see what it was about, and it's a "Belgian dark golden blond quadrupel with an enormous potential of aromas and flavors, and added complexity due to oak barrel aging" from De Struise! This 2016 bottle was aged in St-Émilion French Bordeaux wine barrels and Kentucky Bourbon barrels. A very fine and interesting beer, it really opens up as it warms too. I love a good beer aged in wine and bourbon barrels. Cheers all! :beers:

Stuck at home, not feeling great (but she's feeling much worse, so I'm not complaining). I think we need to see a Dr.

That ought to do it. Cheers!

Key Brewing Dundalk Calling. Rapidly becoming my favorite new local DIPA just because it's unabashedly west coast, which is sadly something you don't see every day.

We (meaning me) are trying to eliminate our off-site storage, so I brought another RV load of oil paintings, and tubs full of women’s clothing/shoes home...now for a beer from Maine that just arrived last week down here - Lone Pine, Portland, ME - “Oh-J” NE DIPA:

Hazy almost cloudy gold; two fingers of frothy white head; ok cap retention; heavy ring, soapy lacing. Strong pineapple grapefruit dank earthy nose. Firm semi sweet malt base, lite lemon zest bitter balance; pineapple grapefruit orange lemon. Medium minus body; moderate carbonation; juicy without feeling full or fluffy; hop burn tip of tongue. Overall tastes juicy without the fluffy feel; some lingering bitterness balances the sweetness; a NE DIPA I actually enjoy - I could drink 2 of these pint cans, very nice!
