    The fourth time I saw Rush was during the Permanent Waves tour. Always liked the gtr solo in Freewill. Spirit of the Radio was a little too radio friendly for this band.

    Krombacher pils 0.0. Very refreshing after work! Especially when it's warm outside and also inside, no air conditioning tradition in homes. Maybe some 'heavier' stuff in the evening?

    Trying to lay low at work today ha, will be back here with beers after I get off work, hopefully getting off early :slight_smile:

    Anyway, going to be John Coltrane day, as he passed away on 7/17/1967 of liver cancer. Will be spinning a bunch of his stuff today. The amount of music he was a part of, and released, specifically from 1960 till his death is staggering (not even considering what he released in the 50's).

    In the mean time, here is A Love Supreme.

    I love every beer from Brooklyn, and I respect their consistency. If only their Chocolate Stout was on our shelves... alas. Still buy them fairly often for their variety and quality. Also pretty cheap for Europe.

    Good day advocates. Had my surgery yesterday and it was a success. Now I can indulge and have a couple. Starting off with Evil Twin NYC Ryste Ryste. Milkshake IPA | 7.5% | Brewed with vanilla, raspberry, blueberry, and milk sugar. Just spectacular cheers

    Berliner Weisse | 5.5% | Brewed with raspberry, passion fruit, guava, marshmallow coconut, and milk sugar. Crushing these berry drinks today. Hard to call it beer but I'm enjoying them cheers

    Finally found some Port City Derecho Lager - previously called Derecho Common as a power outage screwed up the Pilsner they were trying to make.

    Feels and maybe looks a little lighter and tastes a little more... floral/flowery in the middle than I recall. Though there is a nice little bit of bitterness in back that reminds me of years past.

    Took a walk before it got too steamy and enveloped myself in a film of sweat despite the relatively cooler temps. Even this guy was making a beeline for some shade:
